How To make Nana's Sugar Cookies
3/4 c Soft margarine
1 1/2 c Powdered sugar
2 Egg whites
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 1/2 c All-purpose flour; or
-unbleached 1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Cream of tartar
Recipe by: Healthy Cooking for Two In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar; add the egg white and vanilla extract. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and cream of tartar; gradually add to margarine mixture. Cover the bowl and chill for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees; lightly coat cookie sheets with cooking spray. Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface; cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Decorate with colored sugar, if desired. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until slightly golden. You may decorate with frosting after cookies are cooled. Penny Halsey (ATBN65B). Toll House Choclolate Chip Cookies || Nana's Cookery
INGREDIENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS 375 DEG.
2 1/4 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
1 TSP. SALT
2 STICKS (8 OZ.) BUTTER
3/4 CUP SUGAR
3/4 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 TSP. VANILLA
2 EGGS
1 BAG MILK CHOC.CHIPS OR DARK CHOC CHIPS (10-12 0Z.)
1 CUP CHOPPED WALNUTS
COMBINE FLOUR ,BAKING SODA AND SALT IN SMALL BOWL.
CREAM BUTTER,SUGARS AND VANILLA.
ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME.
GRADUALLY BEAT IN FLOUR MIXTURE.
STIR IN CHOC. CHIPS AND NUTS.
DROP BY ROUNDED TABLESPOON ONTO UNGREASED OR PARCHMENT LINED PAN. LEAVE ROOM FOR COOKIES TO SPREAD.
BAKE AT 375 FOR 9-11 MINUTES TILL GOLDEN BROWN.MAKES ABOUT 4 1/2 DOZ. COOKIES

Nana's Delicious Lemon Cookies????
Hope everyone had a nice and safe Easter! Here is a little treat for you all!! These cookies have been in family for years and are always a hit around the holidays ???? I hope you all enjoy the video and enjoy these delicious cookies????
Ingredients:
⅓ tablespoons sugar
1 egg
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
⅓ cup of milk
1 ⅓ cups of flour, sifted
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
Process:
1. In electric mixer, cream together sugar, egg and oil.
2. Add lemon flavoring and milk
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder together
4. On low speed, slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until well blended.
5. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet keeping 2 inches apart. Cookies will spread slightly.
6. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cookies do not have to brown.
7. Let cookies sit on sheet pan until cooled the transfer to wire rack.
Lemon Frosting
2 cups powdered sugar
Fresh lemon juice (to taste)
Water ½ tablespoon
Process:
1. Slowly mix all three ingredients together.
2. Once cookies are completely cooled, use small spatula or dipping method to frost cookies.
3. Place on wire rack until frosting has dried.
IT'S OUR YEARLY CHRISTMAS COOKIES AT NANAS! DECORATING SUGAR COOKIES
Every year Nana makes sugar cookies with all the grandkids and it is one of there favorite traditions! The all get together and make/decorate all the sugar cookies, eat lunch and sing/dance to Christmas music. We are so grateful for Nana and all she does for her grand children!
