How To make Nancy's Apple Bread
1 cup butter or margarine
softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups apples, peeled :
coarsely chopped
CRUMB MIXTURE 1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons cold butter or margarine
Cream butter and sugar together. In a separate bowl, dissolve soda in lemon juice. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Beat butter mixture and egg mixture together. Add flour and salt. Do not over mix. Gently fold in apples. Mix crumb ingredients, cutting in butter to get a coarse crumb texture. Spoon 1/2 of batter into greased stoneware loaf pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 crumb mixture. Spoon in remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Press crumbs gently into surface of batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly in pan. Remove bread from pan

beer - 50 ml (⅕ cup)
dill seeds - 4 g (0.14 oz)

How to make apple cinnamon bread - Apples are everywhere these days and they are perfect for this super easy and fabulous apple cinnamon bread. This loaf is moist and very flavorful. If you can resit, it is at its best on day three! Enjoy it as is or slathered in butter or cream cheese. Delish!

2/3 cups (134 grams) white sugar
1/2 cup (123 grams) sour cream
2 large eggs — room temperature
2/3 cups (167 grams) unsweetened apple sauce
1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
6 tablespoons (85 grams) unsalted, melted butter — cooled
1 3/4 cup (224 grams) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
1 teaspoon (5 ml) cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon (0.62 ml) ground cloves
1 cup (118 grams) peeled and chopped red apple (chopped small)
Preheat your oven to 350F (176 C). Grease a 9x5 inch (23x13 cms) loaf pan well.
In a large bowl, mix together the sugar with the sour cream and eggs. Whisk until well incorporated and creamy.
Add the apple sauce, vanilla and butter. Mix well.
In a small bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Whisk until it is all incorporated.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix until everything is incorporated. Do not overtax the batter. Fold in the chopped apples.
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. Sprinkle the topping on top (recipe below).
Place the loaf in the oven and bake for about 55 to 60 minutes or until an inserted pick comes out clean.
Remove the loaf from the oven and cool it completely on a cooling rack.
Run a knife along the edges of your loaf. Place a platter on top and flip it. Once it falls out of the mold, flip it again. Slice and Serve.
TOPPING
1/2 cup (120 grams) chopped walnuts
1/4 cup (50 grams) brown sugar
1/2 (2.5 ml) teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 tablespoon (8 grams) flour
1 tablespoon (14 grams) melted, unsalted butter — cooled

INGREDIENTS:
- ½ Cup Melted Butter
- 1 Large Egg should be at room temperature
- ½ Cup Light brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Milk
- ½ Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- ⅙ Tsp Salt
- 1½ Cup Diced Red Apples diced but not peeled
- ½ Cup Chopped Pecan Nuts or Walnuts
- 3-4 Tablespoon Cream Cheese
Topping
- 4 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 4 Tablespoon Sugar
Glaze
- ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- ¼ Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
HOW TO MAKE CINNAMON APPLE BREAD :
1) Preheat oven to 350F or 180C. Grease a baking loaf pan with cooking spray and then line with parchment paper.
2) Cream Butter and Sugar until light and Fluffy. Add egg and add some milk, some vanilla, cream cheese and mix everything well.
3) Add Flour, baking Powder, and salt. Mix it lightly. Add diced apples and nuts and fold it in. Transfer it to the prepared baking tray.
4) In a small bowl mix cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle it on the bread. Tap the loaf pan on the kitchen sink and then pop it in the oven.
5) bake it for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. The internal temperature of the bread should be 200F.
6) By the time the bread is baking make the glaze. In a medium-sized bowl whisk sugar, vanilla and milk. Once the bread has cooled down to room-temperature you can spread the glaze.
