4 Eggs; slightly beaten 2 c Canned pumpkin 1 c Sugar 1/2 c Dark corn syrup 1 ts Vanilla 1/2 ts Cinnamon 1/4 ts Salt 1 Unbaked 9" pie shell 1 c Pecans; chopped Combine all ingredients except pecans. Pour into pie shell. Top with pecans. Bake at 350~ for 40 minutes or until set. :

●1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
●3/4 cup sugar
●1 teaspoon cinnamon
●1/2 teaspoon salt
●1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
●1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
●1/4 teaspoon vanilla
●1 2/3 cups evaporated milk
●1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
●3 tablespoons butter , softened
●2/3 cup brown sugar
●2/3 cup pecans , chopped

Cooking with the First Ladies offers a crash course in First Lady History with a PowerPoint presentation covering biography, accomplishments, and culture of the time period and a cooking demonstration of the first lady’s favorite recipes. Attendees receive recipe cards following the program in order to try their hand at cooking a first lady’s favorite dish.
