How to make AMAZING French Onion Soup Stuffed Meatloaf!!!
Guess whose back yall? I had to take a very long break from the show because my real life got way too hectic after being recalled back to work. Still, struggling to find that perfect work-life balance but alas here we are with yet another tasty recipe.
French Onion Soup Stuffed Meatloaf (yup you read that right)
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (turkey or chicken will work)
2 eggs
1 box Savory stove top dressing
Sliced Havarti cheese
Sliced Smoked Gouda (or Gruyere)
2 large onions (sliced)
1 Stick of salted butter
2 cans of French onion soup
1 box of french onion soup mix
(add any seasonings that you enjoy but follow along with the video to get this exact taste.)
Cooking instructions
Add everything (except your onion soup butter and cheese) to a large bowl and mix well with your hands until well combined.
Slice your onions and sautee them in a large skillet with butter and your seasonings over medium heat until well caramelized.
Add in your can of french onion soup and reduce it down until a thick gravy appears.
Form your meatloaf and create a cavern in the middle, layering your sliced cheese and adding half of your soup mixture.
Close the meatloaf and top off with yet another tasty layer of cheese and pour the remaining onion mixture across the top and bake in a pre-heated oven to 425 degrees until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

1 lb 80/20 ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 box Boursin Garlic and Herbs
1/4 cup diced parsley
1 bell pepper diced
1/2 large onion diced
2 tbsps sour cream
1-2 tbsps garlic paste
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 - 2 cups bread crumbs
smoked paprika/italian seasoning/red pepper flakes
salt/pepper/garlic/onion powder
Sauce:
1 cup BBQ
1 cup ketchup
1-2 tbsps tomato paste
2 tbsps dijon mustard
1 tbsps worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
salt and pepper / smoked paprika
Directions:
Begin by prepping your veggies and parsley. Next, saute veggies, parsley, and garlic for 3-4 minutes. Place in freezer to chill after softened. In a large mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients (except sauce ingredients). Work everything together with your hands until it forms one large meatball. Add bread crumbs a little at a time until the loaf takes shape. Place mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 and form into a loaf shape. Place on wire rack or into a loaf pan. Bake for 30-45 minutes. Mix together sauce ingredients over medium low heat. Baste meatloaf with sauce during final 20-30 minutes. Meatloaf is done when it registers 165 degrees internal temp in the middle.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon good olive oil
3 cups chopped yellow onions (3 onions)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup canned chicken stock or broth
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 1/2 pounds ground chuck (81 percent lean)
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs (recommended: Progresso)
2 extra-large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup ketchup (recommended: Heinz)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Heat the olive oil in a medium saute pan. Add the onions, thyme, salt, and pepper and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes, until the onions are translucent but not brown. Off the heat, add the Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, and tomato paste. Allow to cool slightly.
In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, onion mixture, bread crumbs, and eggs, and mix lightly with a fork. Don't mash or the meat loaf will be dense. Shape the mixture into a rectangular loaf on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper. Spread the ketchup evenly on top. Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F and the meat loaf is cooked through. (A pan of hot water in the oven, under the meat loaf, will keep the top from cracking.) Serve hot.

• 1 cup dried bread crumbs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 large egg
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon basil
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
FOR THE GLAZE:
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 pan.
2️⃣ 00:00:11 - In a large mixing bowl, knead together the ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, basil, oregano, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
3️⃣ 00:01:12 - Shape the meat into a loaf and put it into the prepared pan. Bake in the 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
