How To make Orange Glazed Carrots
6 md Carrots, peeled and
-thinly sliced 3 T Dark brown sugar,
-firmly packed 3 T Butter or margarine
3 T Orange juice
1 t Lemon peel
1/4 t Salt
1. Combine all ingredients in a deep, 1-quart, heat-resistant,
non-metallic casserole. 2. Heat, covered, in Microwave Oven 6 to 8 minutes or until
carrots are tender. Stir occasionally so that carrots are well glazed.

In this video i make roasted orange glazed carrots and sweet potatoes.

2 sweet potatoes
1 pound baby carrots
1 onion roughly chopped
large pinch of cornstarch
olive oil for drizzling
2 large pinches garlic salt
large pinch paprika
italian seasoning with rosemary
for the glaze
1/4 cup orange, grapefruit and lemon marmalade
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
plus more for drizzling
butter, cracked black pepper and more garlic salt for topping it off.
chop up sweet potatoes, put in a bowl covered with water for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
drain, rinse drain again then dry them.
drizzle olive oil on potatoes, then add in cornstarch and spices.
place potatoes into roasting pan.
chop up an onion
put carrots and onions in a bowl
drizzle with olive oil. top with seasonings.
place them into roasting pan.
make your glaze by mixing marmalade with balsamic vinegar
bake at 450 for 30-40 minutes
after 10 minutes of baking drizzle a little bit of balsamic over the veg. at the 20 minute mark put the glaze on the veg. after 30 minutes check for doneness. If done put under broiler to brown up the veg.

Roasted glazed carrots are to me the tastiest carrots you can have. You not only have the caramelisation from the roasting but you also add a buttery glaze to enhance and lift the flavour another step.
I like to cut them in a rustic wedge shape, they look more appetizing and you get better caramelisation as there’s more edges.

Orange Glazed Carrots
I made some orange glazed carrots tonight. I had never made carrots by this recipe before.
Orange Glazed Carrots
2 lbs. carrots, cut into 2-in pieces
1 tablespoon sugar
2teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup orange juice
Cook carrots in water till tender: drain
Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and orange juice in sauce pan. Cook over medium heat untill thickened. Add the cooked carrots and reheat.

Honey-Glazed Carrots with Orange and Thyme
Serves 4
1 lb. baby carrots
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
½ orange, zested and juiced
1 tsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
Sea salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add carrots and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes. In a saute pan over medium heat, add the butter, honey, orange zest and juice, vinegar and thyme. When the carrots are done, drain and add to the saute pan. Cook until a syrupy glaze forms, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
