Asian-Style BBQ Sauce | Asian Barbecue Sauce | Homemade BBQ Sauce Recipe | Easy BBQ Sauce
In this recipe, I will show you how to make an Asian-Style BBQ sauce. This homemade BBQ sauce recipe is easy to make and is great on the grill. This sticky Asian barbecue sauce goes well with chicken, ribs, shrimp, fish, veggies and lots more. This homemade Asian BBQ sauce can be used as a baste, a glaze or a dipping sauce.
Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Asian Fish Sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/3 cup or 55g Shallots
- 1 tbsp or 12g Fresh Ginger
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1/3 cup or 60g Brown Sugar
- 1/8 tsp Five Spice

5 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp Grated ginger
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
2 tsp Fish sauce
2 tbsp Honey/rice syrup
1 tbsp Light soy sauce

Chinese BBQ pork is loved the world over, and it's not hard to make at home! With some key ingredients and a couple of technique, it might even be better than buying, actually, it probably will be :)

Make your life easier by whipping up some char siu, or Chinese BBQ roast pork, using this amazing store-bought char siu sauce by Lee Kum Kee AND your AIR FRYER!!
** Be sure to adjust cooking time based on the size and thickness of your pork. Remove the air fryer basket after 7-8 minutes each side to test the doneness of the pork and adjust accordingly to avoid overcooking.
