How To make Oriental Beef and Couscous
2/3 Cup Couscous
1/2 Cup Apricot Preserves -- all-fruit type
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce, low sodium
1/2 tsp Ginger root
Grated
1/8 tsp Red Pepper :
crushed
3/4 Pound Beef Flank trimmed
1 Cup Mushrooms :
Sliced, fresh
1 Medium Green Pepper strips (1 cup)
1 Medium Red Pepper :
strips (1 cup)
2 Green Onions -- 1-inch pieces
2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
2 tsp Cornstarch
Cook couscous according to package directions on the range top, except omit margarine or butter and salt.
For sauce, stir together preserves, soy sauce, gingerroot, and crushed red pepper; set aside. thinly slice steak on the bias into bite-size strips.
Place beef strips in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cover and micro-cook on 100% power (high) for 5 or 6 minutes. (low-wattage ovens: 8 to 9 minutes) or till meat is tender, stirring after 3 minutes. Remove meat and discard juices.
In the casserole place mushrooms, green and red pepper strips, and green onions. Pour sauce mixture over the vegetables. Toss gently till mixed. Cover and micro-cook on high for 4 to 5 minutes (low wattage ovens: 7 to 8 minutes) or till pepper strips are crisp-tender, stirring after every minute.
Stir together vinegar and cornstarch, then add mixture to casserole. Stir in meat. Micro-cook, uncovered, on high for 3 to 4 minutes (low wattage ovens: 5 to 6 minutes) or till mixture is thick and bubbly, stirring after every minute. Serve with cooked couscous or rice.

•500 Gramm Hackfleisch (halb Rind/halb Schwein) || 500 grams ground beef
•250 Gramm Couscous || 250 grams couscous
•250 Milliliter Wasser || 250 milliliters water
•3 Paprika (rot, gelb, grün) || 3 bell peppers (red, yellow & green)
•1 große Zwiebel || 1 large onion
•1 Dose gehackte Tomaten || 1 can chopped tomatoes
•Je 1 Teelöffel Kumin, gemahlener Koriander & Paprikapulver (edelsüß) || A teaspoon each of cumin, ground coriander & sweet paprika powder
•Öl zum Anbraten || Oil for frying
•Salz & Pfeffer || Salt & pepper
•1 Becher saure Sahne oder Joghurt || 1 cup sour cream or yogurt
•Petersilie & Zitronenspalten zum Garnieren || Parsley & Lemon wedges for garnishing

Couscous with Grilled Beef & Vegetables
Ing:
Couscous carrots, celery, white cheese with herbs, capers & olive oil
Mix it altogether
Grilled Beef
Beef steak
Herbs,Rosemary,Thyme,Oregano,Pepper Steak seasoning and Pepper
grilled 5mins each side depends on how thick your beef & you preference to grilled meat.
Vegetables
Wash, cut and blanch it with olive oil & salt
Spiced Ground Beef with Couscous
Couscous and ground beef get along really well. We spiced and flavored this ground meat with garam masala, cumin, thyme, parsley, and onion. Then we cooked the couscous with red onion, butter, vegetable stock, and even 1 teaspoon of brown sugar.

2lb chuck roast
onion powder, curry powder, pepper, salt, beef maggie, thyme, rosemary ( Add to taste)
1 onion
1 scotch bonnet
2 in ginger
1 garlic cloves
1 tomato
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 minced onion
1/2 diced bell pepper
cabbage/ carrots (optional)
2 cups or more of couscous
*if using more than me add more beef broth so it can cook properly. *
