⭐️SOFT BUTTER FLOUR TORTILLAS RECIPE
⭐️CHARRO BEANS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef
2 medium potatoes cubed (275 g)
1 medium squash or zucchini chopped (175 g)
half of a small bell pepper diced (65 g)
half of a medium carrot diced (50 g)
3 cloves garlic minced (13 g)
1 to 1 1/2 cups (115 g) fresh sweet corn kernels
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/4 cups (295. 5 ml) low sodium beef broth
1/3 cup (79 ml) tomato puree or sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a preheated large pan or skillet add 2 Tbsp cooking oil and chopped onions
- Sauté onions until softened and translucent using a medium heat
- Now add cubed potatoes and died carrot, a pinch of salt and continue to sauté for 3 to 5 minutes
- Next add diced bell pepper, minced garlic, fresh corn kernels and continue to sauté for 2 minutes
- Create a space in the center of the skillet and add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper to taste and brown meat well combining with the vegetables while cooking
- Once the meat is cooked, add low sodium beef broth, tomato puree and combine well
- Bring to a simmer, cover skillet or pan with a lid, lower the heat and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are cooked through
- Once picadillo is cooked you can serve as is
- For a less soupy picadillo, after 25 minutes of cook time, remove lid and continue cooking for an additional 15 minutes to reduce liquid in pan. This method works great if using picadillo for tacos
- This recipe serves 4 to 6 servings or can make 8 to 10 bean and picadillo tacos

Turkey Picadillo
Picadillo! ???????? This is so easy to make and it cooks up in 30-minutes flat.
For hundreds more recipes visit my website:
There are many versions of picadillo. This recipe is a fragrant stew of ground turkey simmered in tomato sauce with raisins added for sweetness and olives for saltiness.
It’s an easy comfort dish, in Cuban style.
I use ground turkey. Ground beef or ground pork also work.
Another thing you’ll love ♥️ about it: since you make everything in one skillet, clean up is super easy.
I knew you’d like that. ????
You can serve it with traditional beans and rice or tucked into a gluten free corn taco.
It’s so saucy, you can even serve it over pasta.
Or if you’re low carb, skip the raisins and you’re good to go.????
Happy cooking! ????
Here's the easy recipe:
????
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 pounds of ground turkey
1 onion chopped
1 green bell pepper chopped
1/2 teaspoon of salt
24 ounce jar of gluten free marinara sauce or homemade sauce

????

HOW TO MAKE PICADILLO: Easy Recipe with Ground Beef and Hatch Green Chile
If you've ever wanted to learn How to Make Picadillo, then this easy recipe is for you. It starts with ground beef and potatoes, and ends with Hatch green chile. For me, it's the ultimate comfort food. Read on for the recipe, but keep in mind amounts don't have to be exact.
Picadillo
1 lb. ground beef
2-3 potatoes, cubed or sliced
2 roma tomatoes
approx. 6 Hatch green chiles, roasted, peeled & chopped
half an onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
approx. 2 cups water
1 tsp. chicken bouillon
1 tsp. ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste
Heat a large skillet with enough cooking oil to coat the bottom of the pan, and fry the ground beef in it. When meat is almost cooked, add in the chopped onion and potatoes. Stir and continue cooking a few minutes. Then add in minced garlic, chopped tomatoes, and chopped green chile. Continue to cook a few minutes longer. Add in chicken bouillon, cumin and enough water to just barely cover ingredients in the pan. Mix well and let it come to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and let simmer until the potatoes are fork tender, approx. 15 minutes. Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!

My Family's Cuban Picadillo Recipe!
My submission for the CreateTv Challenge!
INGREDIENTS
- 1-1.3 lbs Lean Ground beef (92-93% lean)
- 0.75-1 whole bell pepper (green or red)
- 1 medium white onion
- 6-8 cloves of garlic, depending on size
- 8 oz of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup manzanilla olives (including the brine)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1.5 tsp ground oregano
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- salt
DIRECTIONS
1. In a medium pot over medium heat, add olive oil and allow it to heat up.
2. Dice the onion, peppers, and the garlic (or optionally, use a garlic press on the garlic).
3. Add the peppers and the onions to the pot - it should sizzle. Add some salt and sweat the onions (~5 minutes).
4. Add the garlic, mix, and let sit for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
5. Add the meat directly into the pot. Add salt, oregano, and cumin. Mix to loosely incorporate the spices and the meat.
6. After the meat has browned a bit (~5 mins), add the tomato sauce, raisins, and olives. Mix and allow to cook for at least another 10 minutes.
7. Once the meat is an even brown color, it's ready to plate! You can let the meat simmer on low for longer, which will improve the flavor!
