Haystacks - need a treat?
this recipe is adapted from - The complete book of raw food. Haystacks 3/4 c coconut oil 1/4-1/2 c honey, (to taste) 1/2 c cocoa powder or carob 1 t vanillia extract, or 1/8th of a vanila bean 3 c shredded coconut (more or less as needed)
make coconut oil into liquid, mix all ingredients togethe. (*I use my hands) form into mounds or balls and place onto a lined cookie sheet. I put them into the freezer for about an hour (although they are ready to eat right away. ) and then move them to a sealed glass container in the fridge. Enjoy.
