How To make Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole
1 tablespoon margarine
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
5 cups cooked chicken
cubed
1 cream of chicken soup, condensed
1 cup sour cream
2 ounces pimientos :
drain
1/2 cup margarine melted
1 1/3 cups crackers :
crushed
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
In a skillet, melt margarine. Saute mushrooms until tender. Stir in chicken, soup, sour cream and pimiento; mix well. Spoon mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole. In a small bowl combine topping ingredients (1/2 cup margarine, the crushed crackers and 2 teaspoons poppy seed). Sprinkle over the chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

This Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole is simple and delicious! You will love this rich, creamy dish!
Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole:
3 Chicken breast cooked and shredded
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8oz sour cream
1 Tbls poppy seed
1/2 stick of butter melted
1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed
Preheat oven 350°
layer Chicken on bottom of 9x13
Mix soups and sour cream and poppy seed and pour over chicken.
too with crackers and butter
Bake for 30 minutes

Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole! Quarantine Cooking!
This easy, delicious Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole is a comfort food classic with tender chunks of chicken in a creamy sauce with a crunchy, buttery cracker topping. It's a family favorite in my house and it always devoured in minutes. This is definitely a winner - winner chicken dinner and a must try!
Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole
Ingredients
2 pound bag of frozen chicken (about 5 cups cooked chicken, cut into bite-size pieces)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp poppy seed
2 cups crushed butter crackers (Ritz)
1 stick butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl, stir together the soup, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese. Add the cooked chicken that has been cut into bite-size pieces (I shred the cooked chicken with my fingers)
Mix everything together and pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Melt butter in a medium size bowl then add crushed crackers and poppy seeds. Stir until crackers are coated with butter. Sprinkle over the chicken in an even layer.
Bake, uncovered for 30 minutes until hot and bubbling and crackers are golden brown.
Serve by itself or over rice.
