Classic Shrimp Salad
A quick and easy shrimp salad perfect for the summer. Serve this as is in a chilled martini glass as an appetizer, on top a bed of mixed greens for a lighter meal or in a croissant with lettuce and tomato as a sandwich. Anyway your're going to love it!
Ingredients:
1 pound colossal shrimp peeled and deveined
A half a cup of imitation crab chunk or flake style
1/3 of a cup chopped cucumber
1/3 of a cup chopped celery
1/4 of a cup finely minced red onion
1 1/2 lemons
1/2 a cup of mayonnaise
one teaspoon dried dill
1/2 a teaspoon old Bay seasoning
1/2 a teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper

Anyone else eat cucumbers like it’s their job? ???? #ad It’s one of my favorite things to snack on, but today it’s the star in this ASIAN SHRIMP CUCUMBER SALAD. ????????You can trust I’ll be eating this on repeat all summer long! It’s light, refreshing, low carb and super easy to make. Perfect as an appetizer, salad or main dish.
Ingredients: 1 lbs. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, 4 cups thinly sliced @shopredsun
cucumbers, 1/4 cup finely sliced red onion, 1/4 cup diced red pepper, 1/3 cup of rice wine vinegar, 2 teaspoons of honey, 2 teaspoons of sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
Directions: Fill a large saucepan half full with water, and bring to a boil. Add in raw shrimp and cook for 2 minutes. Remove immediately and place in an ice bath. Remove shrimp from ice bath, pat dry with paper towel, and finely dice. Add cucumber, onion, red pepper, shrimp, sesame seeds, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and salt to a large bowl. Toss to mix together, refrigerate, sit for 30-40 minutes. Serve.

Mayo Teriyaki Prawn
550 g - frozen prawns / udang
to taste - salt / garam
1 cup - corn starch / tepung maizena
4 tbsp - olive oil
4 tbsp - mayonnaise/ mayones
Sauce Mix:
4 tbsp - soy sauce / kecap asin
4 tbsp - mirin
4 tbsp - sake
2 tsp - all purpose flour / tepung terigu
2 tsp - water / air
1 cup - zucchini / timun
n/a - nori seaweed

Hi lovelies, are you ready for another appetizer recipe? :) I have really enjoyed creating these simple appetizers for you and well, if I am completely honest, it has not been too bad eating them as well :D I have another one coming next week and then I won't be doing them weekly anymore, but once in a while.
