PREP TIME: 5 minutes
COOKING TIME: 5 minutes
REST TIME: 3 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack of MOWI Salmon
2 tablespoon oil
2 large tortillas
1/2 cup arugula
1/4 medium red onion, sliced
Mashed Avocado:
1 avocado, ripe
1/4 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
Salmon seasoning:
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp onion powder
1-2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp sugar
Additional optional ingredients:
Drizzle of Chili oil
DIRECTION:
1. Mix all ingredients for salmon seasoning. Open the MOWI Salmon pack, slide salmon out, and season it well by patting and slightly rubbing all over it.
2. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat, add oil, and place dish, skin down to sear it.
3. Turn it after about 3 to 4 minutes, and cook on the other side for 3 to 4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove it carefully from the skillet and allow it to rest for a few minutes. This is the perfect time to start mashing the avocado.
4. To avocado add a pinch of salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro. Add a generous squeeze of lime and mix.Taste and see if it needs more salt or pepper.
5. Using a fork, slightly flake or pull salmon apart. You can make smaller pieces or bigger.
6. Spread half mashed avocado on the tortilla, add arugula, salmon, and sliced onion. Wrap it, slice it in half, and enjoy!
