5-Minute Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing Recipe | Made Easy with Cilantro, Garlic, Lime and More!
Today we’re whipping up a creamy #CilantroLimeDressing in less than 5 minutes! This dressing goes perfectly with just about anything that has either Tex-Mex or Mexican vibes. It’s great over #salads, as a veggie dip, or a taco sauce!
You can get the full recipe here:
To make it, you’ll need to have the following ingredients on hand: Cilantro, jalapeño (or serrano) peppers, chopped garlic, fresh lime juice, mayonnaise, and avocado oil.
If you’d like to opt for a healthier dressing, you could use a low-fat mayonnaise or half of an avocado.
Olive oil can make your dressings taste bitter, so best to stick to avocado or even canola oil! Lastly, have the salt and pepper on standby and a small food processor or blender.
Nothing needs to be chopped fine, just give the cilantro, jalapeño, and garlic a rough chop and throw it in the bowl of the #foodprocessor. Then, squeeze in the lime, add the mayonnaise, oil, and process until the #cilantro leaves are teeny-tiny and finely chopped!
That’s it! Cilantro Lime Dressing in less than 5 minutes. Insanely easy to make and, even better, insanely delicious! Enjoy!

Cilantro and Lime Salsa
3 Tomatoes – In this video I am using tomatoes off the vine
1 can of diced tomatoes – I recommend Rotel (medium) with green chilies
1 Poblano pepper
2-3 Garlic cloves – I think that 2 cloves is just the right amount of garlic in my opinion
1-2 medium jalapeno peppers
1 Cup of green onion
1 Bunch of cilantro
1 large lime or 2 small limes (juice)
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp salt or salt to taste
½ tsp cumin
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cooking Instructions
1. Wash your veggies
2. Precut all veggies ahead of time
3. Heat up the skillet using about a medium heat
4. Add 1 tbsp Olive Oil to the skillet
5. Add the 3 tomatoes first since they will take the longest to cook - the stem and vine should be removed before putting on the skillet.
6. After about 8 minutes
7. Add in the Poblano and jalapeno peppers
8. Cook until you begin to see the veggies char up
9. Remove the peppers first if they are beginning to char up
10. Remove the tomatoes and cut them in halves or quarters and put them back on the skillet and cover for about 10 more minutes or until there charred and tender.
11. At this point all the veggies should be removed from the skillet and set aside for the blender.
12. Now add the tomatoes, canned tomatoes, garlic, green onion, an peppers to the blender.
13. Set the blender to Mix and Mix for about 15 seconds.
14. Add in the cilantro
15. Add in the freshly squeezed lime juice.
16. Now blend for about 15 – 20 seconds.
17. Add in 1tsp of salt or salt to taste.
