2 Italian sausage
1 Spaghetti noodles
2 Eggs, beaten
3 tb Parmesan cheese
3 Bacon, slices
Chop the bacon, and remove the casings on the sausage. Brown the bacon and sausage in a frying pan. While the bacon and sausage is cooking, cook the spaghetti noodles, drain and rinse. Put the noodles back in the pot, stir in the bacon, sausage, beaten eggs and parmesan cheese. Toss to mix well. Serve with salad and garlic or cheese bread. Preparation Time: 30 minutes. ~--

Easy and fast 30 minute sausage and spaghetti recipe that's a delicious and spicy way to amp your next pasta dish.
Shopping List:
13 ounce pkg. of Italian or smoked sausage
1 lb. thick spaghetti
4 quarts water
24 ounce jar of pasta sauce
3 minced garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. dried basil leaves
2 tbs. olive oil
1/3 cup kosher salt for the spaghetti water
1 tsp. kosher salt for the sauce
1 tbs. white sugar
1/2 cup pasta cooking water
Grated parmigiano reggiano cheese for garnish
Directions:
Pre-heat oven broiler.
Bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil and add the 1/3 cup of salt to the boiling water. Add the spaghetti, toss about with tongs for about 45 seconds to prevent sticking and cook according to pkg. directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of cooking water and set aside.
While the spaghetti is cooking, place the sausage on a foil lined sheet pan and place under the broiler for about 3-5 minutes each side until thoroughly warmed. Remove and cut up into 1/4 inch slices. Arrange them in a single layer and return to the broiler for about two more minutes to crisp up.
While the sausage is cooking the second time under the broiler, add the oil to a skillet over medium heat then add the red pepper flakes, garlic and basil. When the garlic is fragrant (about 1-2 minutes) add the pasta sauce and the sugar and stir. Heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
After the sausage slices have crisped up add them to the sauce mixture along with the cooked and drained spaghetti and the reserved pasta cooking water. Stir to combine.
Garnish with the pamigiano-reggiano cheese and serve immediately.

I, for one just love a good smoky sausage with lots of garlic in it. For me, it has to be a Farmers sausage because you now that it is fresh and all natural, so you know that the taste will be the best and the freshest.
It took me awhile to find the place to get them. I found a nearby home factory where they produce them and smoke them in those big steel smoker units. . Now this is not to say that your local Supermarket does not also have a good variety. I am sure that they are also awesome in taste. Any anyway you find them, is not the question, but to find the right tasting kind is a matter of choice.

SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS INGREDIENTS
6 Sweet Italian Sausage Links or hot or both.
1 lb. Bag Mini Sweet Peppers
1 or 2 Spanish Onions (can sub other onion types)
4 Cloves Garlic (2 for Marinara Sauce and 2 for Peppers and Onions)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp. Fresh or Dry Oregano
1 28 oz. can of Whole Peeled Plum Tomatoes ( San Marzano preferred)
Fresh Basil and Fresh Parsley
Pecorino Romano Cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Start on Marinara Sauce - Marinara Sauce Recipe
Add EVOO and Brown Garlic
Add tomatoes
Add basil and Parsley
Season with Salt and Pepper
In another pan add EVOO and brown sausage on low to medium heat
While the sausage is cooking you can clean
and cut peppers and onions and add to the pan
Put water on for pasta
On medium heat, you want to cook the peppers about 30% and add garlic
Once the peppers and onions are starting to caramelize you can deglaze pan
With ½ cup of water and reduce all the way down.
When sausage is brown on all sides remove from the pan and cut into smaller portions
Add sausage to the pan and cook on low for a few minutes
Add pasta in water and cook.
Drain pasta, add back to the pan and add mix in some marinara sauce.
Coat plate with marinara sauce, twirl pasta, and place on the plate over the sauce.
Add pepper, onions, and sausage and top with marinara sauce, cheese, and parsley
