How To make Scallops with Vermicelli

1 lb Bay scallops
2 tb Fresh lemon juice
2 tb Chopped parsley
1 Onion; chopped
1 Clove garlic; minced
2 tb Olive oil
2 tb Butter; divided
1 1/2 c Canned Italian tomatoes;
-undrained & cut up 2 tb Fresh basil; chopped -??
1/2 ts -dried basil, crushed
1/4 ts Dried oregano; crushed
2 tb Heavy cream
Dash of nutmeg 12 oz Uncooked vermicelli; hot
-cooked & drained Rinse scallops. Combine the scallops, lemon juice and parsley in a glass dish. Cover and marinate in refrigerator while preparing sauce. Cook and stir onion and garlic in oil and 1 Tbsp of the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat until the onion is tender. Add the tomatoes with juice, basil, oregano and thyme. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain scallops. Cook and stir scallops in the remaining 1 Tbsp of butter in another large skillet over medium heat until the scallops are opaque, about 2 minutes. Add cream, nutmeg and tomatoe sauce. Pour the sauce over vermicelli in a large bowl the toss gently to coat. Garnish as desired. From "THE trEASURY OF CREATIVE COOKING" by the Editors of Consumer Guide. Steam scallops w/vermicelli
steam scallops with vermicelli and garlic.
The vermicelli I used is from Thailand, unbleached bean vermicelli.The color is different from normal vermicelli.

Ingredients
8 pcs scallops with shell
1 pck Vermicelli
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp cooking oil
spring onion
method
Clean scallops in running water slowly remove the sand. Swak Vermicelli in water in 10min to become softer. Arrange scallop in a steamer plate then make it role Vermicelli and put on top of scallop. Steam scallop in 10min. In a bowl mix soy sauce and cooking oil sprinkle on top of Vermicelli and spring onion to make it nice color. Then dish up ready to serve and enjoy. Ingredients 配料 :
8 Scallops 8只 扇贝
25g Vermicelli 25克 冬粉
8 Garlic, minced 8粒 蒜头, 切碎
1 Spring Spring onion, minced 1颗 青葱, 切碎
2 tablespoon Light soy sauce 2汤匙 酱清
¼ teaspoon Pepper ¼茶匙 胡椒粉
½ teaspoon Sugar ½茶匙 糖
2 tablespoon Garlic oil 2汤匙 蒜油
2 tablespoon Water 2汤匙 水
