1 box Oven Ready Lasagna
1 32 oz Jar Roa's Tomato Basil Sauce or Marinara
2 tbsps tomato paste
1 onion diced
4-5 cloves of minced garlic
2 tsp fresh oregano
8 oz shredded mozzarella
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb mild italian sausage
8 oz ricotta cheese
fresh basil for garnish
2 tbsps sugar
All-Purpose Seasoning, Italian Seasoning, Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Dice garlic and onion and break lasagna noodles into 2 inch pieces. Heat skillet over medium low heat and add 1-2 tbsps olive oil. Add garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Add onion and cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Next, add in ground meat and cook until no longer pink. Add 2 tbsps tomato paste and season. Add 1 32 oz jar of pasta sauce and mix to combine. Season to taste and add sugar as needed along with fresh oregano. Add lasagna noodles and 1/4 cup water. Cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove lid and stir. Cover again with a lid and simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Next, shred mozzarella cheese and set aside. Remove lid and add ricotta cheese and cover again - simmering for 5 minutes. Remove lid and mix to combine. Top with Mozzarella cheese and place in the oven under the broiler for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley.

INGREDIENTS
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 small onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp Italian herb blend
1 tsp salt
1/2 cracked black pepper
3 cups low-sodium beef broth
24 oz jar of marinara sauce
12 oz mini lasagna pasta (or break sheets of lasagna pasta)
8 oz low-moisture mozzarella
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish with fresh parsley

Skillet Lasagna
Here is what you will need!
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups marinara sauce, divided
6-7 oven-ready lasagna sheets
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons basil, chopped
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Heat the oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
Cook the beef, salt, and pepper until the moisture has evaporated and the beef is starting to brown. Add the garlic and onion and cook until onions are starting to become translucent. Add one cup of the marinara sauce and cook until the sauce has reduced to a paste.
Using a large spoon or a spatula, push some of the beef mixture towards the side of the pan, creating a gap that allows you to slide lasagna sheets underneath the beef. Break about two lasagna sheets in order to fill in the cracks. Top the beef mixture with the rest of the lasagna sheets. Spread the rest of the marinara sauce on top of the sheets. Dollop the ricotta on top of the sauce and spread evenly. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the ricotta, and top with the basil. Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Cool, slice, then serve!

The Most Creative Way To Make Far Better Lasagna
Today we're making lasagna in a much easier way. By using the pasta known as mafaldine and mixing it with all of the typical lasagna ingredients you'll have a delicious finished project with more crispy edges and topping than making it the traditional way. If you can't find mafaldine, feel free to use edged lasagna noodles and break them up a bit. I hope you enjoy this baked lasagna pie!

4 cups (960g) meat sauce - from above
3 large eggs beaten
1 teaspoon coarse cracked black pepper
¾ cup (70g) Pecorino Romano cheese grated, divided
1 cup (240g) ricotta
3 cups (360g) mozzarella - shredded, divided
3 tablespoons basil - chopped
3 tablespoons flat leaf Italian parsley - minced
3 tablespoons (40g) olive oil
