How To make Smoked Fish Spread
1 1/2 lb Smoked fish
2 ts Minced onion
2 ts Finely chopped celery
1 Clove garlic, crushed
2 tb Finely chopped sweet pickle
1 1/4 c Mayonnaise
1 tb Prepared mustard
1 ds Of Worcestershire sauce
2 tb Chopped fresh parsley
Remove skins and bones from fish. Flake fish well. Combine with remaining ingredients and chill. Serve with assorted crackers or party breads. Yield: 3-1/2 cups. From: Southern Living, The Quick & Easy Cookbook Shared By: Pat Stockett

450-500 grams or around 1/2 kg Salmon filet skin off
120 grams softened unsalted butter
120 ml heavy cream
30-40 ml lemon juice
40 small chives thinly sliced
1 1/2 tsp Maldon salt
White pepper to taste
Pinch of cayenne (OPTIONAL)
30 green peppercorns (OPTIONAl)

4.4 fl oz (1/2 cup) heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
40 small chives thinly sliced
1 1/2 tsp Maldon salt

30 green peppercorns (OPTIONAl)

2 medium carrots sliced into large rounds
1 leek cleaned and sliced into rounds

I have made fish dip many many times. I don't always use smoked fish in fish dip. You can bake fish for fish dip too. The best fish dip recipe works for smoked fish and baked fish. I have made this smoked fish dip with king mackerel, cero mackerel, snapper, wahoo, mahi mahi and even trigger fish.
This is a great fish dip recipe and it's also an easy fish dip recipe. You can't go wrong when you make a fish dip catch and cook. Although this episode on the south florida fishing channel is more of a cook than a catch n cook. Although I do catch cero mackerel while fishing at the start of this catch n cook episode.
Even for someone who does not like to eat fish they will eat the best fish dip. This is a good fish recipe for someone who does not like to eat fish as the fish taste is not overpowering.
I show you how to make smoked fish in the video above, so this video is how to make smoked fish dip from that smoked fish I made earlier. I'll also be putting out a how to make baked fish dip as this fish dip recipe works for baked fish and smoked fish the same way.

Smoked mackerel pate is one of my favorite fish pastes. You need 5 minutes to prepare it and everyone will like it. I like to combine it with pickled radishes and homemade crackers.
