Our Zesty Prawn and Asparagus Pasta Recipe!
Creamy, Zesty Prawn & Asparagus Pasta
This is a wonderfully flavourful dish, with more than a hint of the Mediterranean and great to enjoy all year round!

Ingredients
350g spaghetti
1 cup pasta water
2 tbsp. Garlic butter (you can chop up two cloves of garlic and mix it with some butter!)
250g asparagus, stalks trimmed and quartered
300g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
30g freshly grated Parmesan
30g fresh parsley roughly chopped
2 tbsp. heavy cream
Instructions
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
Reserve 1 cup pasta water, drain the pasta, return to the pot and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt garlic butter.
Add asparagus and cook until just tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook until pink, 3 minutes more.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add lemon juice, lemon zest, Parmesan and heavy cream and stir till all coated, then add cooked spaghetti.
Toss until coated, then add pasta water as needed until sauce is creamy.
Serve up and enjoy!

4 tablespoons olive oil - 477 calories
1 pound raw shrimp - 539 calories
1 pound asparagus - 91 calories
1 teaspoons salt - 0 calories
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper - 3 calories
1 teaspoon garlic, minced - 4 calories
1 teaspoon ginger, minced - 2 calories
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce - 8 calories
2 tablespoons lemon juice - 7 calories
PREPARATION
1. In a large frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp to the pan, then season with ½ teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper. Cook until the shrimp is pink. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
2. In the same pan, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil and add asparagus. Add ginger and garlic, then season with ½ teaspoon of salt. Stir frequently and cook until the asparagus is tender-crisp.
3. Return the shrimp to the pan, then add soy sauce. Stir until the ingredients are well combined. Just before the dish is ready, add lemon juice, stir once more, then serve while hot.

Shrimp and Asparagus with Garlic sauce and penne pasta - Tender Gulf Shrimp and Fresh Asparagus Spears lightly sauteed in Olive Oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Finished with butter, tossed with penne pasta and garnished with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.

Ingredients :
Fettuccini or spaghetti for 2
2 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic minced
160 gram shrimp
1 pack asparagus cut into small
1/2 tsp red chilli pepper flakes
1 red chilli padi chopped( if you like spicy )
Pinch of salt
Pinch of parsley chopped
Pinch of parmesan cheese
Instruction :
1. For the pasta, bring a large pot of salted water, boil it and add pasta. Cook until al dente ( about 8 minutes ). Drained set aside.
2. In a pan with medium heat add olive oil, garlic, prawn, chilli, chilli flakes , asparagus and seasoning with salt. Cook the prawn until both side are cooked.
3. Then drain the pasta and add some water into the pan. Stir well.
4. Sprinkle some parsley and parmesan cheese on the top.
5. Serve.

Complete dish: fish, vegetables and carbohydrates:
For 2 people: 5 oz. (160 gr.) of your favorite pasta;
To flavor the olive oil in the pan: 1 bunch of parsley, half a clove of garlic, a couple of hot pepper (everything finely chopped);
For the sauce: 20 shrimp, 20 asparagus, 1 fresh tomato cut into squares.
