How To Make Roasted Sweet Potatoes || Easy Sweet Potato Recipes || Oven Roasted Sweet Potato Recipe

These simple savoury oven roasted sweet potatoes are an easy side dish that everyone loves! This is a perfect savoury bites for Thanksgiving!

Ingredients

Sweet Potatoes - 1 kg
Mild chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp (You can reduce to your spice level)
Vegeta (All purpose seasoning ) - 1/2 tsp
Thyme - 1/4 tsp
Garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
Onion Powder - 1/4 tsp
Basil - 1/4 tsp
Olive oil - 1 tbs
salt

** There is no need to fully peel them. You can roast with the skin too.
** Grease the baking tray before spreading potatoes on.

Boil Potatoes for 10-20Min Until Tender
1 Lb Baby Yellow Potatoes (Yukon Gold)

Hey Guys! Above is my quick and super easy spicy roasted sweet potato! 5 ingredients! These make the perfect side to any protein (chicken, fish, turkey, beef) and a great potluck bring during the holidays! You can even bring this dish to Thanksgiving this year! Click above and enjoy!

Spicy Roasted Sweet Potato

Ingredients
3 whole sweet potatoes/yams
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt and pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions
Peel sweet potatoes with a vegetable peeler. Next, rinse and pat dry. Then, slice sweet potato into large 1/2 inch coins and into 4 quarters. Continue until all three are cut into quarters . Next, pour olive oil across sweet potato pieces, add salt, pepper, paprika, cloves, red chili flakes, and cayenne pepper. Bake in the oven at 375 F, 15-20 minutes, until soft.

▶️ RECIPE INGREDIENTS LIST: (3 to 4 servings)

620g / 4 heaping Cups approx. Sweet Potatoes (2 medium size, 685g including the skin) - chopped in 1-1/4 inch X 1-1/4 inch & 1 inch thick
300g / 2 Cups approx. Red Bell Pepper (1 large or 2 small size, 340g including the core & seeds) - chopped in 1-1/2 inch X 1-1/2 inch
200g / 1+1/2 Cup approx. Onion (1 medium size, 220g including the skin) - cut in 1/4th inches thick slices
2+1/2 Teaspoon Smoked Spanish Paprika
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (OPTIONAL)
Salt to taste (I added 3/4 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt)
3 Tablespoon Olive Oil (organic light Olive Oil)

Garnish:
1/2 Cup / 30g Green Onion - Chopped
1/4 Cup / 10g Parsley - finely chopped
Drizzle of olive oil (I have added 1/2 Tablespoon organic cold pressed olive oil)

▶️ METHOD:

Prepare a baking tray by lining it with parchment paper. Set aside. Pre-heat the oven to 425 F.

Transfer the chopped vegetable to a large bowl. Add the smoked paprika, ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, olive oil and mix well. Transfer the vegetables to the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Make sure the vegetables are spread it out properly so that it can bake evenly (otherwise they will end up steaming).

Bake in a pre-heated 425 F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are cooked but still firm.

Once the vegetables are baked well, add the chopped green onion, parsley and drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Serve hot with your meals.

Best Ever Roasted Sweet Potatoes Recipe - How to Bake Sweet Potatoes

These roasted sweet potatoes will hands down be your best way of roasted sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes are deliciously soft inside and caramelized outside, perfect roasted sweet potatoes side dish for the holidays.

INGREDIENTS

3 large sweet potatoes ( i recommend using fresh newly bought sweet potatoes, they taste the best)
3 Tbs olive oil
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 Tbs brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
salt and pepper to your taste taste ( i used about 1 and 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper)

BRIEF INSTRUCTION

1. Cut sweet potatoes into cubes
2. Add the rest of the ingredients to sweet potatoes and mix very well
3. Place sweet potatoes into a greased baking pan, be sure to space them out well.
4. Bake at 425 F for 30 to 35 minutes
