How To make Spicy Shrimp Patties
1 lb White fish fillets (sole,
-cod or whiting) 6 oz Cooked peeled shrimp,
-chopped 4 Green onions, chopped
1/4 c Vegetable oil
2 tb Chopped cilantro (fresh
-coriander) 1 tb Chopped fresh mint
1 Inch piece fresh gingerroot,
-grated 2 c Fresh white bread crumbs
Salt and red (cayenne) -pepper to taste 1 Egg yolk, beaten
2 tb Lemon juice
3/4 c Garbanzo bean flour
1 tb Ground coriander
1/2 c Water
Mint sprigs and lemon slices, to garnish Remove any skin and bones from fish, rinse and pat dry with paper towels. Mince fish, then transfer to a bowl. Stir in shrimp, green onions, gingerroot, cilantro, mint, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, salt and cayenne. Add egg yolk and lemon juice; mix well. Divide mixture into 16 equal portions and form into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Roll patties in
remaining bread crumbs to coat completely. Put flour, coriander, salt and cayenne in a small bowl; add water and mix to a smooth batter. Heat oil in a skillet. Dip patties in batter; fry 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve hot, garnished with mint and lemon slices. Makes 4 servings. Ingredients For: Prawn Patties Recipe
300 GRAMS FROZEN KING PRAWNS
5 STALKS MINCE GREEN ONIONS

1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER
1 TSP WHITE SUGAR

Shrimp or Prawn Patties | Stuffed Puff Pastry Snack | Kravings
These patties are reminiscent of the bakeries back home with it's spicy Shrimp of Prawn filling. Puff pastry is made by rolling layers of dough with butter in between to give it that incredible buttery taste and flaky texture. I've made Chicken Patties on my channel before and I will be uploading a ground meat version as well. Whatever the feeling, Patties or Puff Pastries are delicious snack or appetizer. Perfect with a beverage cold or hot!
Here are the ingredients and steps to make this recipe!
Shrimp Patties
1 lb Shrimp
1.5 cups finely diced Onion
2 tbsps sliced green Chilli
Pinch Salt
2 tsps ground Ginger and Garlic paste
1/2 tsp red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 cup finely diced tomatoes
Salt to taste
¼ tsp Pepper
1/2 cup chopped Coriander or Cilantro
10 x 10 cms Chilled Puff Pastry squares
1 Egg beaten
Black or White sesame seeds (optional)
Finely mince the shelled & deveined Shrimp with a knife
Add some oil to a saute pan and allow it to heat up
Saute the Onion and green Chilli till the Onion turns golden brown adding some salt to help it go brown faster
Add the Ginger and Garlic paste and cook for a few minutes
Add the Shrimp followed by the Chilli & Turmeric powder
Add the Tomatoes, Pepper and Salt to taste and cover and cook
Once the Tomatoes are mushy and the Shrimp is cooked open the lid and cook till the liquid has evaporated and add more Salt if required and chopped Coriander
Cool the Shrimp filling
Beat an Egg and lay out the Puff Pastry squares
Brush two sides with Egg, add the filling and fold over and seal to form a triangle
Press down the edges with a fork to seal
Brush the tops with more Egg wash and sprinkle with Sesame seeds

Simple Thai Shrimp Patties Recipes I How to make Thai Shrimp Cakes
Thai shrimp patties/shrimp cakes are just perfect for an appetizer or even late night snacks. With classic Thai seasoning paste, these patties are simply tasty and easy to try making at home. Serve with plum sauce and enjoy.
INGREDIENTS ( makes about 6 -7 Portions; about 40g/portion )
▪ 1/4 tsp white peppercorns
▪ 1 ( 5g ) cilantro/coriander root, chopped ( alternative: cilantro stems )
▪ 2( 5g )cloves garlic
▪ 10.6oz or 300g shrimps (peeled and deveined)
- 8oz or 240g shrimps for blending
- 2oz or 60g shrimps, roughly chopped
▪ 1/4 tsp salt
▪ 1/4 cup or 50g bread crumbs
▪ Vegetable oil
Gently drop into about 329F/165C oil to fry. To avoid overcrowded, fry in two batches. Fry for about 3 min or until golden brown.

Shrimp Puffs | Spicy Shrimp Puffs | Puff Pastry
This is how you make shrimp puffs.
Ingredients:
12-15 cleaned and cut shrimp
2 medium sized onions (minced)
A small piece of ginger
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 tsp of chili powder
1/4 tsp of garam masala
1/4 tsp of fennel powder
1/4 tsp of turmeric
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp of black pepper
Handful of coriander leaves
Sautée the onions, ginger and garlic
Add the spices
Then the shrimp and coriander leaves
When the mixture is ready, put it on the puff pastries
Pre-heat the oven at 375°F
And finally, bake the puffs in the oven for 20-25 minutes
