Homemade peanut butter & pumpkin dog treat recipe
Good morning YouTube friends!
Today Olive and I are making some homemade doggy treats:)
This recipe is super easy and good for your pup.
To make these little biscuits you’ll need-
2 cups of any flour (I prefer whole wheat or brown rice and used brown rice in the recipe)
1 1/2 cups oat flour (I just blended oats in my blender for about 20 seconds)
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup pure pumpkin purée
1 cup natural peanut butter
And about 1/2 - 3/4 cup water
Stir together pumpkin and peanut butter, then add everything to a mixer with a dough hook.
You can totally do this by hand, but the mixer definitely makes it faster.
Slowly add water until a soft dough comes together.
Roll out dough into about 1/8-1/4 inch thick. Cut using a knife or cookie cutter.
Bake for 20-25 min @ 375 degrees Fahrenheit-
Until treats are slightly golden and crispy.
Keeps in a cool dry place up to 3 weeks.
Enjoy!!

LOCKDOWN EASY DOG TREAT RECIPE! By Feed My Paws
Hey everyone!
It's been ages since we last uploaded a recipe on YouTube (although we do have tons on Instagram, which you can search by using #feedmypawsrecipe) :)
This recipe is also safe for hamsters and cats too! If your dog or cat is allergic to dairy, simply substitute it with something else like canned sardine or fruits :)
If you prefer seeing the steps in photos, we have them on our Instagram, Facebook, as well as blog here:
As this recipe is really quick to make, heat up your oven to 120 degrees celsius (250F) prior to starting :) Baking time: 15 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
3 teaspoons Parmesan Cheese (grated cheddar, mozarella, cream cheese, cottage cheese, all work fine as a replacement)
1 Egg
2 Scoops Goat's Milk Powder
4 teaspoons Brown Rice Flour
Toppings (optional): I used whatever I could find in my pantry that I had extra of which were frozen peas, blueberries, and some oats :)
After mixing everything together, place in a piping bag or ziplock bag. I piped these to around 3cm in diameter.
SUBSTITUTES:
Brown rice flour can be substituted with oat flour, garbanzo (chickpea) flour, coconut flour, wholegrain flour, buckwheat flour. I would avoid plain/bleached flour if possible. Corn flour and Tapioca flour is also not suitable for this recipe.
No cheese? Simply use canned sardine, tuna, or even fruits!
No goat's milk powder? Regular milk powder works too, as long as your pup or kitty is not lactose intolerant. Otherwise, just skip it and add more flour.
STORAGE: 3 days in the fridge or 2 weeks in the freezer.
