WALDINE VAN GEFFEN VGHC42A:
1/2 c + 2 tb unsalted butter; room
-temp 1/4 c Light-brown sugar, packed
2 lg Granny Smith apples; peel,
-cored, 1/4" slices 1 c Granulated sugar
1 lg Egg
1 c Unsweetened applesauce
2 1/4 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Freshly ground nutmeg
1/2 ts Salt
CINNAMON DREAM TOPPING 6 oz Cream cheese; room temp
3/4 c Sour cream
3/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1 c + 2 tb powdered sugar
Grease 9" springform or round cake pan 1 1/2" deep. Melt 2 tb butter with brown sugar in 10" skillet over medium heat. Add apple slices. Cook over medium heat until apples begin to soften, about 4 minutes, stirring often. Arrange apples in even layer over bottom of prepared cake pan. Set aside to cool. Cream remaining 1/2 c butter and granulated sugar until light. Add egg. Beat until smooth. Add applesauce and blend well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in small bowl. Add to creamed mixture. Mix until smooth. Spread batter evenly over apples. Place pan on baking sheet. Bake on middle rack of 350~ oven until wood pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 to 45 minutes. Cool on rack 15 minutes. Use small flexible knife to separate cake from sides of pan. Invert pan on serving platter and unmold cake (replace any apple slices that may remain in pan). Serve warm. Pass CINNAMON CREAM TOPPING in separate dish. Beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Gradually add cinnamon, then sugar, mixing well after each addition until smooth. Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature before serving. The main ingredient: a lot of love❤️
*** The recipe: (baking pan size: 20cm / 8 inches)
2 / eggs
65g / granulated sugar (4+1/2 tablespoons)
8g / vanilla sugar ( 1/2 tablespoon)
A pinch of salt
Mix well
100ml / milk (1/2cup - 1 tablespoons )
40ml / vegetable oil ( 3 tablespoons)
80g / all-purpose flour (1/2 cup)
10g / baking powder ( 1,5 tablespoons)
Mix well
1 teaspoon / orange zest
3-4 / sweet apples
Pour into the batter and mix well!
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C / (356 ° F) for 50-55 minutes!

Easy Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake
Delicious super easy with basic ingredients caramel apple upside down cake. Soft spongy cake with caramel apple slices. Perfect for tea. This is a very old recipe that has been in husband’s family for years. Wonderful!
INGREDIENTS
For the Caramel and Top:
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
3 tbsp (45 g) unsalted butter, in small pieces
2 Golden apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1 tbsp (15 ml) sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry (optional)
For the Cake:
3 eggs, at room temperature
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
1 cup (130 g) self rising flour
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat the sugar in a small sauce pan until it dissolves and turns amber in color.
2. Pour the caramel over a 10 inch baking dish buttered beforehand.
3. Put the pieces of butter randomly on top of the caramel.
4. Then place the slices of apple all around to cover the bottom of the dish and pour the sweet sherry on top.
5. In a bowl, whisk the eggs together with the sugar until the mixture turns pale.
6. Add in the self rising flour and mix just until combine.
7. Pour the batter over the apples and bake at 350ºF (175ºC) for 40 minutes or until fully cooked.
8. Loosen the sides with a knife and leave it to cool for just 5 minutes.
9. Place a plate on top and carefully flip the dish. Serve and enjoy!

업사이드 다운 케이크는 꺼낼 때 뒤집어 꺼내는데 떨리는 기대감이 있어 재미있는 것 같아요~
사과를 다양한 모양으로 잘라 만들면 되는데 큼직하게 넣었더니 사과 식감도 느낄 수 있고 풍성한 맛이 나더라구요~
생각보다 간단하고 따로 완성할때도 손이 가지 않아서 쉽게 만들 수 있는 것 같아요~
저는 사과와 시나몬의 조합이 좋아서 시럽을 만들때 시나몬 파우더를 넣었는데 생략하셔도 괜찮답니다~
시럽을 만들 때 너무 오래 끓이면 카라멜 처럼 굳을 수 있으니 너무 오래 가열하지 않는게 좋더라구요~
케이크 반죽에 버터를 넣지 않고 생크림으로 간단하게 만들어 봤는데 촉촉하면서도 포슬포슬한 느낌이에요~

▶틀 사이즈 Mold size : 20cm
▶재료
무염버터 50g
갈색설탕 90g
생크림 50g
시나몬 파우더 2g
사과
달걀 2개
설탕 100g
바닐라익스트랙 3g
생크림 220g
박력분 200g
베이킹파우더 3g
베이킹소다 2g
▶레시피
1. 냄비에 무염버터, 갈색설탕, 생크림, 시나몬 파우더를 넣고 살짝 걸쭉해질 때까지 저으며 끓인 뒤 틀에 붓고 평평히 한다.
2. 자른 사과를 올린다.
3. 달걀에 설탕, 바닐라익스트랙을 넣고 섞은 뒤 생크림을 넣고 섞는다.
4. 박력분, 베이킹파우더, 베이킹소다를 체 쳐 넣고 섞은 뒤 틀에 붓고 평평히 한 뒤 170도 예열한 오븐에서 35분 정도 굽는다.
5. 뒤집어 꺼낸다.

3g Vanilla extract
220g Heavy cream
200g Cake flour
3g Baking powder

1/4 cup (50g) sugar
zest of a lemon
1/4 cup (56g) vegetable oil
2 tbsp (30g) plain yogurt
1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp (6g) baking powder
2/3 cup (85g) all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp (1g) salt
