How To make Walnut Cake
8 eggs
separated
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups walnuts :
finely ground
10 Uneeda biscuits crushed
1 whole lemon rind :
grated
1 pint heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup apricot jam
Beat egg yolks with 1-1/2 cups sugar until light lemon-colored. Add nuts, biscuit crumbs, and lemon rind. Beat egg whites until dry and fold into nut batter. Grease two 9-inch cake pans lightly, line them with wax paper, and grease and flour the wax paper. Pour batter into pans and let stand 5 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove pans from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks. Whip cream until stiff. Beat in 1/4 cupsugar gradually; add vanilla and beat. Spread jam on top of one layer cake. Place second layer cake on top. Cover sides and top of cake with whipped cream. Sprinkle with additional nuts, if desired.

Walnut Cake
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Walnuts 250 gms
-Darchini powder (Cinnamon powder) ½ tsp
-Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) 1/4 tsp
-Honey 1/3 Cup
-Makhan (Butter) 250 gms (room temperature)
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) ½ Cup
-Anday (Eggs) 3
-Vanilla essence ½ tbs
-Soji (Semolina) ½ Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 3 Cups
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
Directions:
-Coarsely chop walnuts with the help of the knife.
-In frying pan, add walnuts & dry roast until fragrant.
-Add cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder and mix well.
-Turn off the flame. Add honey & mix well. Set aside.
-In bowl, add butter, caster sugar and whisk well.
-Add eggs, vanilla essence and whisk until well combined.
-Add semolina, gradually add all-purpose flour, salt and mix until well combined.
-Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
-Knead dough again and divide into 3/4th & 1/4th Part.
-In loaf pan, place butter paper, take 3/4th part, spread evenly and make a cavity.
-Prick with fork. Add walnut mixture and place 1/4th remaining part of dough and spread evenly to cover the filling properly. Prick with fork again.
-Bake in preheated oven at 170 C for 30-35 minutes.
-Let it cool down.
-Cut into slices & serve!

-Chulha bund ker dein aur shahad dal ker achi tarha mix ker len & side per rakh dein.
-Bowl mein makhan aur bareek cheeni dal ker achi tarha phent len.
-Anday aur vanilla essence dal dein aur achi tarha phent len.
-Soji aur thora thora ker ka maida shamil kertay jayein, namak daal dein aur achi tarhan mix ker lein.
-Dhak dein aur 30 minutes k liye refrigerate ker lein.
-Dough ko dubara goond lein aur 3/4th & 1/4th hisson mein alag alag ker lein.
-Loaf pan mein butter paper laga lein aur 3/4th part daal ker phaila lein aur cavity bana lein.
-Fork sa prick karein aur akhrot k mixture ko daal dein aur 1/4th part remaining dough daal ker phaila lein aur filling ko properly cover ker lein. Ab fork sa prick ker lein.
-Preheated oven main 170 C per 35-45 minutes k liye bake ker lein.
-Thanda ker lein.
-Slices mein cut ker ka serve karein!

1 box Betty Crocker vanilla cake mix
4 eggs
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup of water
1 cup black walnuts diced
Mix all ingredients but the walnuts, put them in last, preheat oven to 350, grease 2 cake pans, pour mixture into pans bake about 25-30 minutes depend on your stove.
Cream Cheese Icing
1 stick unsalted butter softened
1-8 oz pack of cream cheese softened
3 cups powder sugar, Cream butter with mixer add cream cheese mix well, add powdered sugar until all lumps are out, icing cake.

Preheat Oven to 170C fan assisted (190C non fan)

250g Softened Unsalted Butter
250g Caster Sugar
4 Eggs
250g Self Raising Flour
50g Chopped Walnuts
3tbsp cold good quality Espresso (or 1tbsp instant coffee granules mixed with 3tbsp water)
Coffee Buttercream:
250g softened Unsalted Butter
400g Icing Sugar
3-4 tbsp cold good quality Espresso (or 1tbsp instant coffee granules mixed with 4tbsp water)
Walnuts to decorate!

125g Softened Unsalted Butter
125g Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
125g Self Raising Flour
25g Chopped Walnuts
1.5tbsp cold good quality Espresso (or 0.5tbsp instant coffee granules mixed with 1.5tbsp water)
Coffee Buttercream:
125g softened Unsalted Butter
200g Icing Sugar
1-2 tbsp cold good quality Espresso (or 1/2tbsp instant coffee granules mixed with 2tbsp water)

Walnut Cake | Tea Time Cake | Walnut Vanilla Cake
Ingredients:
1 Cup Refined Flour/Maida
1 Cup Oil/Butter
1 Cup Castor/Granulated Sugar
4 Eggs
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts.
Method:
Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius. Beat oil and sugar till combined. Add eggs and vanilla essence and beat till light and fluffy. Add baking powder in Maida/Refined flour that has been sifted 2 to 3 times and mix it properly. Take out 1 tsp of Maida/Refined flour to coat the walnuts. Add Maida/Refined flour in 2 parts in the egg batter and fold it lightly till a smooth batter is formed. Add the walnuts(reserve few for garnishing). Pour the batter in a greased and lined baking tin and top it up with reserved walnuts. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 40 to 45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Let it cool for 15 minutes and then unmould. Serve warm and enjoy.
