1 3 pounds broiler chicken
1 pound carrots
1/4 pound white onions
whole cloves 2 cubes instant chicken broth
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup flour
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 cups water
DUMPLINGS 2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1 cup milk
CUT CHICKEN INTO SERVING PIECES. PARE CARROTS ONIONS IN PAN ADD INSTANT CHICKEN brOTH, SALT, BAYLEAF, PEPPER AND WATER. ADD CHICKEN. HEAT TO BOILING LOWER HEAT COVER AND SIMMER 30 MINUTES. COMBINE FLOUR AND COLD WATER IN CUP TO MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE. STIR INTO BUBBLING CHICKEN LIQUID. COOK STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL MIXTURE THICKENS. DUMPLINGS:SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR BAKING POWDER AND SALT INTO MEDIUM SIZE BOWL. CUT IN SHORTENING WITH PAStrY BLENDER STIR IN MILK JUST UNTIL FLOUR IS MOIST. DROP DUMPLINGS BATTER IN MOUNDS ON TOP OF STEAMING CHICKEN. COOK COVERED 20 MINUTES NO PEEKING OR THEY WON'T BE LIGHT AND FLUFFY.

Chicken and mushroom fricassee may be referred to as a dish of classic culinary. Chicken comes out tender and juicy and a sauce so wonderful that you can hardly tear you off! Fricassee is easy to cook and a pleasure will be unrepeatable!

✅ Ingredients:
• chicken breast fillet – 28 oz / 800 g
• bulb onion – 3 oz / 100 g
• mushrooms – 9 oz / 250 g
• butter – 2 oz / 50 g
• vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
• wheat flour – 2 tbsp
• white dry wine – ⅔ cup / 150 ml
• chicken broth – ⅔ cup / 150 ml
• cream 20% - ⅔ cup / 150 ml
• thyme – 1 sprig
• nutmeg – ¼ tsp
• fresh parsley – 2 tbsp /10 g
• ground black pepper – ½ tsp
• salt – 1 tsp
✅ You will need:
• pan
• deep bowl
• carving board
???? Preparation:
1. Cut the chicken breast fillet into pieces and roll in flour.
2. Chop up the bulb onion.
3. Cut the mushrooms into 4 pieces each.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, lay out the chicken and fry for 3-4 minutes over medium heat flipping the pieces.
5. Take the chicken out into a bowl.
6. Add the butter into the pan and fry the bulb onion over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
7. Add the mushrooms, white dry wine and simmer over medium heat for 3 minutes.
8. Add the fried chicken pieces, broth, thyme, salt, ground black pepper and nutmeg into the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
9. Then add the cream, stir and warm up the cream over low heat with no boiling. Switch the heat off and sprinkle with the parsley leaves.
10. Serve your chicken fricassee with mushrooms hot.

Chicken and vegetables in a fragrant wine and cream sauce. Delicious! The ingredients I used are listed below:
Chicken Fricassee
Ingredients for at least 4 servings:
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon butter (plus more as needed)
Salt and pepper to taste
4-8 bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces (thighs and drumsticks for me)
1 medium onion, diced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
3 medium carrots, sliced
2 teaspoons garlic paste (or 2 minced cloves of garlic)
2 generous tablespoons flour
Bouquet garni: 8 sprigs fresh thyme and1 large sprig rosemary, tied with cotton string
1/2 cup dry French vermouth*
1/2 cup Sauvignon blanc or Pinot Grigio*
1 1/2 cups chicken bone broth (or, use chicken stock)
1/2 cup heavy cream
Garnish: coarsely minced parsley (dried will work!) for garnish
*Feel free to use ALL dry French vermouth or ALL Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio -- a total of 1 cup

Season cut up chicken breast with Tony Chachere’s and lightly coat with flour.
Add 1/4 cup olive oil and 2 tbs butter to your pan. Once heated brown your chicken on both sides. Remove chicken from pan add in a 1/4 cup of flour stir until lightly golden. Once it’s lightly golden, you can add in your chopped vegetables. One onion, one bell pepper, two celery stocks. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes on medium/low heat make sure not to burn your flour. Now you can add in your minced garlic and parsley cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Add in 32 oz chicken broth and season to taste with Tony Chachere’s and roasted garlic powder. Once your sauce has thickened, you can add in your chicken reduce the heat cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

LITTLE MISTAKE IN THIS ONE. Dumplings are 240g (2 cups) of flour, not 1 cup!
Not your regular suet dumplings, these are super easy, muffin-style dumplings that are a little lighter, and full of flavour. They top the tasty chicken and veggie-packed stew, making a whole meal, without the need for any sides.
