How To make Fresh Pear Salad

1/4 c Sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
1/8 ts Salt
1 c Pear juice; or nectar
1/2 c Orange juice
2 tb Lemon juice
6 md Pears; peeled, halved, cored
Lettuce Cottage cheese Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan; stir in juices. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Arrange pear halves on lettuce leaves; spoon a small amount of cottage cheese into cente of each. Spoon fruit dressing over each pear. SOURCE: Southern Living Magazine, sometime in 1977. Typed for you by Nancy Coleman.
