How To make Grecian Green Beans Coca Cola
2 cn (16 oz ea) small whole
Green beans, drained 2 Shallots or small onions,
Peeled, thinly sliced, and Separated into individual Rings 2 cl Garlic, minced
1/4 c Fresh parsley, chopped
2 tb Sugar
2 ts Oregano leaves
2 ts Prepared mustard
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c COCA-COLA
1/4 c Olive oil
2 tb Vinegar
In a large bowl, combine the garlic, parsley, sugar, oregano, mustard, salt, Coca-Cola, olive oil, and vinegar, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the beans and shallots/onions; toss lightly with a fork. Pack into 1 quart jar. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight for the flavors to blend. Serve chilled or as a hot vegetable with steak, hamburger, or meat loaf. Makes 1 quart. Recipe: "International Cooking with Coca-Cola", a give-away pamphlet from The Coca-Cola Company, 1981

Coca Cola Baked Beans Recipe - It's summer time, and that means everything outside. We adore cooking outside, and we usually throw a bunch of baked beans in the oven when we fire up the grill and smoker. This is how my grandmother made them - slow cooked with Coca-Cola for that perfect Southern sweetness. This one ticks all the boxes - easy, delicious, inexpensive - it'll be your new go-to version. Ingredients:
2 big cans of baked beans (preferably Bush's brand)
1/2 cup ketchup
1 onion, diced
1 tbsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp crushed black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
3-4 strips of bacon (optional)
1/2 cup of cola (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Strain the baked beans to remove the pre-made sauce.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beans, ketchup, onion, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and brown sugar.
Mix well to combine all ingredients.
If desired, fry the bacon until crispy and add the crackling bacon to the mixture.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Pour the cola over the mixture (optional).
Lay the strips of bacon over the top of the mixture (optional).
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Now this isn't your typical meal, but it's sure to turn some heads and make your taste buds happy. Serve it with some sourdough bread and you've got the perfect breakfast Recipe.
1-1/2 cup white beans (haricot, pinto, white rajma, butter beans)
1 cup finely chopped red or white onion (2 medium onions)
1/2 cup finely chopped green capsicum (1 medium-sized Capsicum)
1 cup tomato paste/passata( bottled or fresh)
1 tsp paprika (or to taste)
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cumin powder
2 vegetable bullion (organic and salt-free)
2 tbsp olive oil (or any vegetable oil)
2 tbsp brown sugar (add more if you like it sweeter)
1-1/2 tsp barbeque /brown sauce/(I prefer the brand HP)/ketchup
1-2 tsp Worcester sauce
Salt to taste
