How To make Lemon Rice and Peas
2 c ;water
1 c Long-grain brown rice
2 tb Olive oil
1 ts Cumin seeds
1 ts Black mustard seeds
6 Green onions; finely chopped
2 c Fresh or (thawed) green peas
3 tb Tamari
3 tb Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 c Fresh parsley; chopped
1 ts Turmeric
pn Cayenne pepper 8 Chapatis or whole wheat
-tortillas; warmed In a medium saucepan, bring the water toa boil over high heat. Add the rice, cover, reduce the heat, and simmer until the water is absorbed, 30 to 40 minutes.
Remove from the heat. Heat the olive oil in large skilet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds and cook, stirring, until the mustard seeds begin to pop, about 30 seconds. Add the green onions and cook until softened, about 1 minute. Ad the cooked rice, peas, cashews, tamari, lemon juice, parsley, turmeric and cayenne and cook, stirring often, for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat. Lay a warm chapati or tortilla on a work surface, put about 1/2 cup of the rice mixture in the center, and roll up tightly around the filling. Repeat with the remaining chapatis and rice mixture, serve immediately. From DEEANNE's recipe files

Mustard seeds 1/2 rtsp
Urad dal 1/2 tsp
Channa dal 1/4 tsp
Hing/asafoetida a pinch
Turmeric powder a pinch
Salt to taste
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Rice flour 1 Tsp

1. Cauliflower Rice (Serves 4 people)
Cauliflower - 1 medium sized (cut into small pieces)
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 spoon
Chilly Powder - 1 spoon
Basmati Rice -1 and 1/2 cups
Mustard Seeds - 1 spoon
Jeera - 1 Spoon
Garam Masala - 1/2 spoon
Coriander Leaves
Salt - For taste
2. Peas Pulao (serves 4 people)
Basmati Rice - 1 and 1/2 cup
Peas - 200 gms
Coconut Milk - 1 cup
Bayleaf - 1
Cinnamon Stick - 1 small
Elaichi - 1 Big
Cloves - 3
Onions - 2 Medium sized (chopped into long thin slices)
Maggi Magic Cubes - 1 packet
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 spoon
Cashews
Coriander Leaves
Salt - For taste
3. Lemon Rice (Serves 5 people)
Rice (Ordinary/Basmati) - 2 Cups
Medium onionsi - 1 cut into long thin slices
Lemon - 2 and 1/2 medium sized
Mustard Seeds - 1 Spoon
Urad dal - 1 spoon
Channa Dal - 1 Spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1 spoon
Green Chillies - 2-3 Slit in the middle
Roasted Peanuts - 1/2 Cup
Coriander Leaves
Curry Leaves
Salt - For taste

Quick, easy and tasty ginger and lemon rice with peas and chicken.
Today we are going to make very delicious and new rice recipe with chicken, peas, carrot, bell pepper and fried peanuts. It’s very easy recipe. New white rice recipe arabian style.
Ingredients
2 kilo chicken fillet
4 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons oil
Lemon juice (1 lemon)
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cilantro powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon ginger powder
( after cook the chicken you can try it and adjust the taste as you like )
Oil to cook
Rice
Oil and butter or margarine
3 tablespoons peas
3 cups washed rice
3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon of the spices mixture we made for the chicken
1 teaspoon grated green ginger
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Water
For garnish the rice
Peas, carrot, bell pepper and peanuts
For the salad
Lettuce
Tomato
Onion
Salt
Dried mint
Lemon juice
Olive oil
