How To make M&M Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies

3/4 c Margarine softened 3/4 c Peanut butter 3/4 c Granulated sugar 1/2 c Light brown sugar 2 lg Eggs 1 ts Vanilla extract 1 2/3 c All purpose flour 3/4 c Quick-cooking oats 1 1/2 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Salt 12 oz M&m's semi-sweet choc. candy Preheat oven to 350 F. In large mixing bowl, cream margarine, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in M&M Semi-sweet chocolate candies until evenly blended. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 - 12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire cooling racks. Store in tightly covered container. Makes about 3 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies. Mars Incorporated 1993, -----

This peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipe makes a BIG batch of cookies but you’ll find they disappear very quickly so don’t think you’ll be able to squirrel away that much extra dough to freeze and bake later! I topped my cookies with a generous sprinkle of Malden’s sea saltflakes and they were just plain delicious. It added a lot of visual interest and those little bursts of salt were just the perfect accompaniment to the sweetness and peanut butter flavor in the cookies.

These soft and chewy monster cookies have BIG notes of peanut butter and chocolate and some added texture from old fashioned oats. The recipe is basically foolproof and a complete crown pleaser so there’s NO excuse not to make them. 1/2 cup butter 1/3 cup white sugar 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup peanut butter 1 egg 1 tsp baking soda 1.5 cups flour 1 tsp vanilla
Peanut butter M&M’s Semisweet chocolate chunks
Cream together butter and sugars. Beat in the egg. Add in the peanut butter, mix together. Add in the flour and baking soda. Mix together and add vanilla. Fold in candy and chunks. We made large cookies so we baked at 350 for 15 minutes (smaller cookies will bake faster) Enjoy with a big glass of milk!
