Spiced Caramel Apple Crisp Dump Cake WITH FRESH APPLES!!????Fall Recipe????????WW(Weight Watchers)CAKE MIX!
Spiced Caramel Apple Crisp Dump Cake WITH FRESH APPLES!!????Fall Recipe????????WW(Weight Watchers)CAKE MIX RECIPE! I love doing these dump cakes because they are really simple but delicious desserts. I decided to do a twist on the apple version I do in the crock pot and came up with this one. It is kind of a cross between an apple pie, cobbler and crisp all in one. The fresh tart apples and spices pair really well with the sweet caramel and spicy cake mix! The combination of everything together make this a perfect Fall dessert! Look down below for more dump cake vidoes!

Simple Apple Crisp Recipe
Recipe Here⬇️
A Simple Apple Crisp is a perfect treat for any fall day. Our favorite apple tree gave us tons of apples this year, so we’ve made quite a few crisps, some apple butter and other apple desserts, as well. I just wish I knew what variety of apples the tree was growing!! The apples have an amazing flavor of spicy/sweet with some pink flesh and they hold up well when baked. This dish also contains some of our families homemade maple syrup. We have quite a surplus of maple syrup right now, so I’ve been trying to figure out recipes where I can use it instead of sugar. This recipe definitely fits that bill.
Apple Crisp Recipe:
Filling:
-5 pounds of apples, peeled cored and diced. I prefer a spicy, sweet apple, and make sure you choose a variety that holds up well to baking and doesn’t turn to mush.
-3/4 cup of maple syrup
-1/2 cup of apple cider or apple juice
-2 tablespoons lemon juice
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon allspice
-1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
-1/4 cup of all purpose flour
In a large bowl, put your lemon juice in it. Then take all of your apples, peel core and dice them and put them into the bowl with the lemon juice. Stir to coat the apples so they don’t brown. Then add your maple syrup, apple cider or juice, spices and flour. Stir until completely incorporated, make sure all the apple pieces are covered. Coat a 13 x 9 pan in nonstick cooking spray. Pour the apple mixture including the liquid into the pan. Make sure it’s evenly spread out. Put into a preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes to bake. **If using Honeycrisp apples you may want to increase the baking time because those apples will be rather firm at 30 minutes. While apples are baking start on the topping.
Topping:
-2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
-1 cup of all purpose, flour
-3/4 cup brown sugar
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-10 tablespoons of unsalted butter, diced small
In a large bowl, add oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Mix with your fingers. Take your butter, dice it up small and add it to the flour /oatmeal mixture. Use your fingers to incorporate it well throughout the mixture. Try not to leave very large pieces of butter. When the apples are done baking, give them a stir, then carefully add the topping to the apples. Spread it out evenly and put it back in the oven to bake for another 25 minutes. The top should be a golden brown color when you pull it out of the oven. When it’s finished baking, let it cool a little bit you can serve it as is or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream topping. Leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator. Happy Eating!
