Sweet Baby Ray’s vs Stubb’s BBQ Sauce
I’ll be reviewing BBQ sauces over the course of the next few weeks and pointing out what I like about one over the other. In this episode, Stubb’s was the clear winner in terms of ingredients, and additives. I’m not a fan of High Fructose Corn Syrup (harder for me to say as your can tell in the video) so the clear winner here was Stubb’s. As for taste, Stubb’s was a very close second to Sweet Baby Ray’s. Slight nod to SBR’s. Stubb’s is a little more expensive but I don’t have an issue with that as I’ll pay more for better quality and ingredients, not to mention Stubb’s comes in a glass bottle whereas SBR’s comes in a plastic bottle which adds to the price. Overall, I’ll go with Stubb’s.
This is a taste test/review of the Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce, Honey Barbecue Sauce and Sweet Vidalia Onion Barbecue Sauce. They were mailed to us from Matthew in Texas!

Salt Pepper Vidaila Onnions Pork Loin Pork Tenderloin
Prepare Goldens’ Cast Iron Cooker for indirect heat using the sear plate under the grates. Select some pork loin and tender loin. In a bowl combine 1 medium-size sweet vidaila finely chopped onion,. 1 cup ketchup. 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Rub tender loin down with bbq mix. Use more than you think you need. Set the grill temp at 185-215 degrees (depending on size of pork loin)
Place the pork loin on grates with fat cap FACING UP (it will marinate the meat as it cooks)
Cook for 1-2 hours depending on size of pork loins (until internal temp is 160 degrees)
Tips: Let meat rest in pan at least 15 minutes before before serving.
