Homemade Apple Barbecue Sauce
Oooo so very good Apple Barbecue Sauce that you can make at home. Be creative and try it.Then adjust the ingredients to create your own personal flavor. That's what makes cooking so good, creativity and sharing!

Here is what you need:
• 1 cup of ketchup
• 2/3 cup of rice vinegar
• 1/2 cup apple juice or apple cider
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/8 cup of soy sauce
• 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 4 teaspoons of plain yellow mustard
• 1/4 cup of honey
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne (adjust to your taste)
• 1/2 cup real bacon pieces very finely ground in a food processor or you could use imitation bacon bits if you want.
• 1 - large Gala apple very finely chopped in a blender or food processor
• 1/2 of a green pepper finely chopped in a blender or food processor
Here is how it's done:
1. Mix the ketchup, honey, rice vinegar, apple juice or cider, brown sugar, soy sauce, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, black pepper, minced onion, cayenne and bacon pieces.
2. Over medium-high heat, bring the mixture to a boil. Once to a boil stir in the apple and pepper. Reduce heat to medium and allow it to simmer for about 10 -- 15 minutes stirring frequently. As you are stirring, watch for the sauce to start thickening.
3. Once thickened, allow to cool before bottling.

Homemade Texas BBQ Sauce Recipe - Best BBQ Sauce - Backyard Texas Barbecue
Sometimes we think about Barbecue being difficult, but it doesn't have to be! This Texas Homemade BBQ Sauce proves my point. Now you can wow your friends with a delicious BBQ Sauce made in your own backyard (well... in your kitchen.)
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of butter
1/2 red onion
1 clove of garlic (or about 1 teaspoon)
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon of tomato paste
1 Tablespoon of yellow mustard
1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of chili powder
Add salt and pepper as desired (I didn't add any)
Directions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan on medium high heat. Add your onions and cook for about 3 minutes.
Add your garlic and cook for 2 minutes stirring continuously.
Add the rest of your ingredients and mix it together. Let it simmer until it reaches desired texture.
To make the sauce smooth, run it through a blender. Or you can leave it chunky. Either way still tastes delicious!
