How To make Broccoli And Macaroni with Lots Of Garlic

macaroni, cooked
Directions:
Cut each group of broccoli in half. Trim the tough outside layer of the bottom half off and discard. Slice tops and bottoms lengthwise, and then chop into small pieces (slice and dice). Peel and chop garlic cloves into tiny pieces.
Heat oil in large dutch oven and when very hot add the garlic. Cook garlic about 5 minutes. Then add the brocolli. Cover and cook until tender, over low flame, about 25 to 30 minutes. Add garlic powder, salt and romano cheese (add more to taste). Cook another 5 minutes.
Cook one pound of macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Place macaroni in a large bowl. Pour brocolli and oil mixture over macaroni. Mix well. Sprinkle more romano cheese over top. Serve.

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic

2 pounds (900 grams) broccoli rabe, fresh or frozen.
½ teaspoon salt or more to taste.
12 ounces (340 grams) orecchiette pasta + 3 quarts/12 cups/3 Liters water and 1½ tablespoons/21 grams sea salt.
2 plant-based sausages 3.2oz/90 grams each + 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, and 2 twists of black pepper.
½ cup breadcrumbs + 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 clove of garlic.

PENNE PASTA 2 CUPS - BOIL ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ON PASTA PACKET.
BUTTER 1 TBSP
CHOPPED ONION 3 TBSP
CHOPPED GARLIC 2 TBSP
GREEN PEPPERS ALL COLORS 1/4 CUP
BROCCOLI FLORETS 3 CUPS
OREGANO 2 TSP
RED CHILI FLACKS 2 TSP
BLACK PEPPER 1/2 TSP
SALT 1 1/2 TSP

Ingredients:
13oz (370g) macaroni
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
1 small-medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 cup (115g) Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup (85g) Gouda cheese
3/4 cup (85g) Mozzarella cheese
4 tablespoons (30g) Flour
4 tablespoons (60g) Butter
4 cups (1L) Milk
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 360F (180C).
2. In a large bowl combine all the cheeses and set aside.
3. Heat large pot of salted water, cook the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes, until soft but not soggy. Drain and set aside. Cook the macaroni to al dente (1-2 minutes less then package instructions).
4. While the pasta is cooking make the sauce: In a large pot, melt the butter, add chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes over low-medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute. Add flour and whisk over medium-low heat. Cook for a couple of minutes, whisking constantly, until golden. gradually add the milk and whisk until smooth. Cook until slightly thickens, about 5-6 minutes.
5. remove from heat, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
6. Gradually add 3/4 of the cheese mixture to the sauce and whisk until melted after each addition.
7. Drain the pasta and add to the sauce. Add the broccoli.
8. Transfer to a 12-inch (30cm) round baking dish, sprinkle the remaining 1/4 of the cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

* you can use any type of cheese that you like
