1 1/2 lb Chicken livers (about 18)
3/4 ts Dried marjoram leaves
3/4 ts Dried thyme leaves
3/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
12 lg Fresh mushrooms
9 sl Bacon,
-halved crosswise 6 tb Butter or margarine,
-melted 1/4 c Dry white wine
Rinse chicken livers; pat dry with paper towels. In medium bowl, combine the marjoram, thyme, salt and pepper. Add livers; toss to combine. Remove stems from mushrooms; reserve for rice pilaf. Wipe mushroom caps with damp towels. Wrap each liver in bacon. On each of 6 skewers, alternate 3 livers and 2 mushrooms. Arrange skewers on rack in broiling pan. Brush with half of butter. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 5 minutes. Turn skewers; brush with remaining butter and the wine. Broil 5 to 7 minutes longer, or until bacon is crisp (livers should still be pink on inside). How to Make Creamy Liver Yakitori (Reba Yakitori)
Last week, I showed you guys how to skewer Hatsu. I described how the heart is connected to the liver by the tsunagi, which makes up the hatsumoto skewer. So I wanted to get right into the next organ, the reba, which is chicken liver.
If made right Reba Yakitori can be creamy and delicious. Unlike the other parts we’ve skewered, Liver can be very delicate, so this will be a test of finesse and being gentle with your hands.
In today’s lesson, we’ll be prepping, skewering, grilling, and garnishing the liver skewers.
Ingredients:
Chicken Livers - Look for solid and firm pieces.
Tare (from tutorial
Sake
Kosher Salt
Optional - Salt Cured Egg Yolk or Miso Cured Salami
Equipment Used:
-6 Inch Hiragushi - Flat skewers. Round skewers can be used as alternative.
-Grill (Electric Livart Orange Barbecue grill used in this video)

500g Chicken Liver
3 tbsp Ginger Garlic Nd green chilli paste
1 Tbsp Chilli flakes
1 Tbsp Chilli powder
1 Tsp Turmeric powder

Grilled Chicken Liver & Onion Po'Boys.
This is for us liver lovers. If you are a liver loather you may not care to watch. In the video I marinate and grill some chicken livers and onions and serve them on a Po'boy. A Po'boy is a class of sandwiches popular in New Orleans and throughout the central Gulf South region of the U.S. Po' boys vary in the meat served with them, the ones in my video have chicken liver. However a true Po' boy sandwich must be served on French bread (baguette). I also use an authentic brand of New Orleans style mayonnaise called Blue Plate and in the marinade I use New Orleans own Crystal hot sauce.
You will all see an unique grill in this video.
In the beginning I poke a little fun at the Parish I grew up in. Just jesting I love my family and subscribers from there.

Liver skewers or kebabs are so popular in Turkey, people eat them for breakfast in many Turkish cities. Traditionally liver kebabs are made from lamb's liver and grilled on charcoal.
Today we are making an easy version of liver kebabs with calf's liver and using the kitchen oven to grill them. Incredibly delicious and one of the best versions of calf's liver.
