How To make Clam & Shrimp Chowder
1/4 c Butter
1 lg Onion, chopped
2 Celery stalks, chopped
2 Potatoes, peeled, diced
1 1/2 ts Fennel seeds
2 tb All-purpose flour
1 ts Paprika
1 3/4 c Chicken stock
1 cn Baby clams, drained (10 oz)
4 oz Cooked peeled medium shrimp,
-thawed if frozen 1 Red bell pepper, seeded,
-diced 3/4 c Frozen corn, thawed
2/3 c Half-and-half
Salt to taste Fresh ground pepper to taste Fresh dill sprig (opt) Melt butter in a saucepan. Add onion, celery, potatoes and fennel. Cook gently 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Blend in flour and cook 1 minute. Stir in paprika and stock and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in clams, shrimp, bell pepper and corn. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir in half-and-half, salt and pepper. Garnish with dill sprig, if desired, and serve hot. VARIATION: Omit paprika and add 1 teaspoon Curry Powder. Add 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or cilantro just before serving.

Seafood Chowder, Chunky and Creamy Guaranteed to be Amazing
A thick and creamy, chunky seafood soup with flavours of the sea that's out of this world. Made using fish stock, white fish, scallops, mussels and shrimps or prawns. This version has no potatoes as I don't believe it needs it, but it does have more seafood. Fresh seafood is the secret so buy the freshest you can. See my fish stock recipe or simply buy it ready made. If you can't drink wine, you can leave the wine out if you wish and just add the squeeze of half a lemon juice. Anna's Shrimp and Clam chowder recipe
1 cup of milk, 2 sprigs chopped parsley a few dashes of chomped onion, few sprinkles of celery seeds, a few dashes to taste of nutmeg,
1/2 lb. clean and devein shrimp, 1/8 teaspoon smoke paprika, black pepper, i garlic clove crushed or grated, few dashes of sazon tropical or Goya packet, add New England clam chowder COOK FOR 6 MINUTES better add your garlic at the last minute, add some croutons eat away.
I added Serrano peppers if you like hot., I don't add salt the soup has salt, and the Sazon also has salt.

You will absolutely love this creamy seafood chowder dish! It's perfect, cozy and satisfying for fall and winter!
Ingredients:
-1 lb. haddock cut in pieces
-2 lbs. uncooked, peeled, de-veined shrimp
-2 lbs. scallops
-4 medium potatoes, cut in 1/2'' slices
-3 cut scallions
-1/3 c. all-purpose flour
-1/4 c. melted butter
-1 c. dry white wine
-1 c. whole milk
-4 c. water
-1 vegetable or chicken bouillon cube OR chicken broth
-salt, pepper, parsley, mozzarella cheese to taste

cooking for one: clam chowder with shrimp.
When I want something quick and filling I prep a few shrimp and combine them with canned clam chowder. It warms me to my toes and fills my belly. I added ground pepper, dill and four shrimp. Sorry for the miscount, but it was good.
