Vegan Sugar-Free Lemon Curd | Organixx Recipe
Lemon curd is usually made with egg yolks... but you won't miss the eggs (or the sugar!) in this Vegan Sugar-Free Lemon Curd that's bursting with lemony goodness. Be sure to use the optional drop of organic essential oil for maximum citrus flavor:
Lemon curd is a sweet condiment used in a similar way to custard or jelly. It's popular in Britain at tea time as a spread for scones... and it's just as delicious as a topping or spread on foods such as waffles, crepes, cake, vanilla pudding, yogurt, and so much more!
In today's short video, Katrina will walk you through how to make sugar-free lemon curd that's just as delicious and can be used in all the same ways as conventional lemon curd.
This quick vegan lemon curd doesn't take long to whip up on the stove... but it's best to plan ahead so it has plenty of time to chill and set completely (overnight is ideal). Once it's made, however, all you need to do is grab the jar out of the fridge and add a dollop to whatever you desire.
This sweet and tangy sugar-free vegan lemon curd is enhanced by adding a drop or two of either lemon or orange essential oil. As always when cooking with essential oils, be sure to only use PURE essential oils with no additives.
Organixx essential oils are 100% pure and are USDA certified organic:
