How To make Miso Pesto Pasta
1 pk EDEN Extra Fine Pasta
-OR- Pesto Pasta 1/2 c Pine nuts or walnuts
-- toasted 1/4 c EDEN Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 Cloves garlic; pressed
1/2 c Water
1 1/2 tb EDEN Shiro Miso
4 c Loosely packed fresh basil
-OR 1/2 basil & 1/2 parsley Cook pasta according to directions until tender, and drain. Toast nuts in a dry skillet until golden brown being careful not to burn. Grind in a blender and set aside. In blender, combine olive oil, garlic, miso and water; blend. Chop the basil fine, add to blender and process. Add nuts and blend until creamY smooth. Pour pesto over hot pasta. How about whipping up a romantic dinner for two in the comfort of your home for this coming Valentine’s Day?
We created a dish of Truffle Miso Fettuccine and Seared Scallops using San Remo's Fettuccine, which will do nothing less than impress your partner. The earthy rich pungent taste of truffles shines though this dish. Pasta, cream and truffles are a simple Italian repertoire, not complex but has a depth of flavour. Without complicating the taste profile, and a simple way to heighten the depth flavours, we added 1 tsp of white miso paste. The silky cream sauce coats each strand of fettuccine with the black truffle paste, leaving only the seared scallops to complete this dish.
The dish looks as though you have slaved the whole day in the kitchen but in fact it took you no time at all. Start the meal with a simple salad, end with a decadent dessert and have it with copious amount of chilled champagne or white wine. One famous chef, Lidia Bastianich has described the smell and taste of truffles causes amorous feelings. Belíssimo!

Vegan MISO PESTO Recipe! [**Made with Gnocci!**]
Make this Easy, healthy Miso Pesto (with real Japanese Miso) at home in 5 minutes! It is gluten free, vegan, healthy and full of protein. I use tasty ingredients like hemp hearts, fresh basil and Japanese Miso to make this delicious recipe!
All you need is something to blend it with in something to put it on! I made my pesto with gnocci and arugula.

~Miso Pesto Recipe: (gluten free and vegan)~
Ingredients:
I bunch fresh basil (2oz)
4- 5 Tbsp hemp hearts
1.5 Tbsp White Miso (check out my mom's handmade miso at hakouya.com)
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 Clove of garlic
113 cup olive oil
Combine all ingredients with a blender or processor
until smooth.
To cook with pasta, add pesto to heated pan with pasta water to make a sauce like consistency. Add greens and cooked pasta. Toss & serve!

It’s built on a combination of toasted nuts, creamy ricotta, and salty Parmesan, with a little kick coming from raw garlic and fresh oregano.
