How To make Orange Peanut Butter Bread
1/2 c Peanut butter 2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
2 tb Salad oil 1/2 ts Salt
1 1/3 c Orange juice 1 tb Baking powder
1 Egg 1 tb Grated orange rind
3/4 c Sugar
Beat peanut butter until fluffy. Gradually add salad oil and orange juice, beating until smooth. Beat in egg and sugar. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder; stir into peanut butter mixture, blending well. Stir in orange rind. Turn one greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour 15 minutes. Makes yer basic one nice loaf, pal. -----

*Ingredients
1. Sugar Orange Peel:
* 2 Orange peel
* 100g (1/2 cup) Sugar
* 100ml (0.42 cup) Water
2. Dough:
* 350g (2.23 cups) Bread Flour
* 50g (4 tbsp.) Sugar
* 5g (1/2 tbsp.) Instant Yeast
* 80g Beaten egg
* 140g (0.58 cup) Milk
* 3g (1/2 tsp) Salt
* 60g (2 tbsp.) Unsalted Butter
* 40g (2 tbsp.) Sugar Orange peel
3. Decorating:
* Egg wash
* Pearl Sugar
160°C (320°F) bake for 25 minutes
Important tips.
1. Try to cut off the white part inside the orange peel, otherwise the sugar orange peel will taste little bitter.
2. Need 2 eggs in this recipe, use about 80g of egg mixture in the dough, and use the rest to brush the bread surface.
3. This bread has a large water content, baking at lower temperature will make it more fluffy and soft
4. I used two 6-inch baking pan, if you switch to other sizes, the baking time should be properly adjusted. If you switch to a 9-inch, the baking time will take about 30 minutes.

1932 Orange Honey Bread Recipe
Welcome Friends. It is Sunday morning so we're going to do another in our old cookbook series, and again today we're going to use the Five Roses Flour Cookbook.
This copy was published in 1932. Now we've already done a recipe from this page; the peanut butter bread and a lot of people said I like the orange honey bread right below it can you make that?
Ingredients:
Rind of 2 oranges
1/8 tsp baking soda
¼ cup water
1 cup honey
3 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
½ cup nutmeats
¼ cup shortening, melted
½ tsp baking soda
1 Tbsp water
Method:
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Coarsely chop orange rinds and place in a pot with 1/8 tsp baking soda and enough water to cover.
Cook at a simmer for 30 minutes.
Drain and discard the water; place the peels back in the pot with ¼ cup water and the honey.
Simmer until thick as marmalade, and then remove from the heat to cool to lukewarm.
Beat the egg into the milk.
Toss a bit of the flour into the nuts to coat.
Combine the flour baking powder and salt.
Dissolve the ½ tsp baking soda into the tablespoon of water.
Add milk mixture to the dry ingredients a little at a time; beating well.
Add the orange mixture, dissolved soda and nuts; mixing just until combined.
Pour into a bread pan and let stand for 20 minutes.
Bake for 60 - 75 minutes.

Peanut Butter Bread? - a crumb of a WW1/1920's recipe
How can something be so dry and yet so sticky at the same time? Ladies and Gents, I give you peanut butter bread from the World War 1 era...back when no one knew what else to do with peanut butter lol.
According to the recipe, it should have made for good sandwiches. The only thing it turned out to be good for is either chicken food, paving stones, or some sort or last resort food.
Dont get me wrong it smelled great, and it tasted pretty ok... but my goodness if you want to be full for days, or better yet, something to keep your kids quiet for a bit then this is the recipe for you! (and not sandwiches.)

Warm milk 120ml
White sugar 12g(1tbsp)
Active dry yeast 2g(3/4tsp)
Melted unsalted butter 15g(1tbsp)
All-purpose or bread flour 200g(1 1/3cups)
Salt 1.5g(1/4tsp)
Peanut butter
Use medium-low heat, fry for 2minutes, then fry for another 2-3 minutes after flip over.
