1/2 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
One Pot Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta
This super lush and Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta is perfect for busy weeknights. Everything cooks in one pot and is done in under 30 minutes! FULL RECIPE BELOW. ????

INGREDIENTS
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast ($5.56)
2 Tbsp butter ($0.26)
2 cloves garlic ($0.16)
1/2 lb. penne pasta ($0.40)
1.5 cups chicken broth ($0.20)
1 cup milk ($0.32)
3 oz. cream cheese ($0.29)
1/3 cup basil pesto ($0.73)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan ($0.44)
freshly cracked pepper ($0.03)
1 pinch crushed red pepper ($0.02)
OPTIONAL ADD-INS
3 cup fresh spinach ($0.90)
1/4 cup sliced sun dried tomatoes ($1.10)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut the chicken breast into 1-inch pieces. Add the butter to a deep skillet and melt over medium heat. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook over medium heat until the chicken is slightly browned on the outside.
2. While the chicken is cooking, mince the garlic. Add the garlic to the skillet with the chicken and continue to sauté for one minute more.
3. Add the uncooked pasta and chicken broth to the skillet with the chicken and garlic. Stir to dissolve any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Place a lid on the skillet, turn the heat up to medium-high, and bring the broth up to a boil.
4. Once the broth comes to a full boil, give the pasta a quick stir, replace the lid, and turn the heat down to medium-low. Let the pasta simmer over medium-low heat for about 8 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the broth has been absorbed. Stir the pasta briefly every two minutes as it simmers, replacing the lid quickly each time.
5. Once the pasta is tender and most of the broth absorbed, add the milk, cream cheese (cut into chunks), and pesto. Stir and cook over medium heat until the cream cheese has fully melted into the sauce. Finally, add the grated Parmesan and stir until combined.
6. If using, add the fresh spinach and sliced sun dried tomatoes. Stir until the spinach has wilted, then remove the pasta from the heat. Top the pasta with freshly cracked pepper and a pinch of crushed red pepper, then serve.

Ingredients- Makes 3-4 Servings
1/2 package Spaghetti
4 Table Spoons Pesto
2 Chicken Thighs- Chopped into small cubes
1/2 Medium Onion- Chopped
Olive Oil
Parmesan Cheese
1. Start Boiling water for pasta (high heat)
2. Heat your frying pan on Medium low heat. Once hot, pour some olive oil in and let that heat up.
3. Throw your chicken cubes into the frying pan. Brown on all sides for 2-3 minutes.
4. Once chicken is brown, toss the onions in and continue cooking untill chicken is cooked through (about 2-3 minutes more). Once done, turn off heat and set aside.
5. Once water is at a rolling boil, toss your pasta in. Follow directions of your pasta box.
6. In another large bowl, put half your pesto and half your chicken into the bottom.
7. Once pasta is done, drain and toss into the bowl with the pesto in it. IMPORTANT remember to set aside a little pasta water.
8. Once pasta is in the bowl, throw the rest of the pesto and chicken on top, put about 1/2 cup of pasta water in and mix thouroughly.
9. Once its mixed up, plate into your bowl and add more parmesan and olive oil if you would like.

✅Ingredients
Pesto:
• 2 cups fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
• 3 whole cloves garlic
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
• ¼ cup pine nuts
Pasta:
• 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed 1 inch
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 teaspoons table salt
• 2 teaspoons black pepper
• 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
• 12 ounces penne pasta
• 3 cups low sodium chicken broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
✅Instructions
1️⃣ First make the pesto. Measure the fresh basil leaves by loosely packing them into a measuring cup. Place the leaves into a food processor or blender.
2️⃣ Add in garlic, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and pine nuts. Blend until fairly smooth. Set aside.
3️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large (12-inch) deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add in chicken and season the chicken with salt, pepper and granulated garlic.
4️⃣ Cook chicken until it starts to brown, about 6-8 minutes. Add into the chicken the chicken broth and uncooked pasta. Turn heat to medium high and bring everything to a boil. Once it hits a rolling boil, turn the heat to medium and cover the pan with a lid. Cook the pasta in the chicken broth until the pasta is al dente. Cooking time will vary based off of what type of pasta you use so be sure to check the package directions. Stir occasionally so the pasta does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
5️⃣ Once the pasta is cooked to al dente, reduce heat to a simmer and add in the heavy cream and the pesto mixture. Stir until well incorporated. Remove from stove. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and stir to combine.

How to Cook Pasta with Pesto Sauce and Chicken
I'm a pasta lover, I can eat pasta everyday. Here's my version of pesto pasta with chicken recipe, I'm using the previous arugula pesto that I've made a couple of days before. Check the pesto sauce recipe here :
To make this easy pesto pasta, feel free to cook with any kind of pasta you like, just make sure you follow the instructions on how to cook it perfectly :)
This easy chicken pesto pasta is done under 20 mins, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Believe me, this creamy pesto chicken pasta is a crowd pleaser too! :D
Pesto pasta with chicken recipe, you'll need :
40 gr onion
2 garlic cloves
1 medium tomato
100 gr boneless chicken thigh
roasted cashew
180 gr spaghetti
salt
5-6 tbsp pesto sauce
40 gr parmesan cheese
