How to Fill a Cupcake

Fillings are thrilling (and easy) additions to baked cupcakes! Just use a Wilton tip, such as the Bismarck tip 230, to pipe in whipped topping, pie filling, peanut butter and jelly, or flavored mousse.
Peanut Butter-Filled Chocolate Cupcakes
A nice chocolate cupcake with a moist peanut butter filling.
Cupcake ingredients:
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
4 oz semisweet chocolate
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup granulated white sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in large bowl, set aside.
Put butter and chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave, stir until smooth and let cool slightly
Whisk granulated sugar into cooled chocolate mixture, stir in vanilla, add eggs and mix.
Add chocolate mixture to the flour mixture, stir until incorporated.
Line a 12 hole muffin tin with paper cups. Spoon 2 tbsp of chocolate batter into each, followed by 1 tbsp of peanut butter filling. Add an additional 1 tbsp of chocolate batter over top and smooth out. Top with 1 tsp peanut butter filling, swirl top of cupcake with a skewer or toothpick.
Bake at 325F for about 40 minutes rotating tin halfway through, until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs attached.
FILLING:
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Blend together until smooth.

1 large egg whites
1 whole egg
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

Total: 25 min
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 C).
2. Combine all the ingredients except the peanut butter in a food processor. Process into a smooth batter.
3. Divide the cupcake mixture between nine cups in a cupcake tin. Then, pop a teaspoon of peanut butter in each and push it down so it is submerged.
4. Bake the cupcakes for 10-15 minutes until they're cooked through. They're best eaten fresh from the oven. If you have any leftovers, microwave them to re-melt the peanut butter center.
