1/3 c Butter or margarine;
-softened 1/2 c Peanut butter; smooth or
-chunky 1/2 c Packed dark-brown sugar
1 Egg
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 1/4 c All-purpose flour
3/4 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
2 tb Sesame seeds
1 Egg white; lightly beaten
1/2 c Wheat germ
Recipe by: St. Louis Post-Dispatch 9/9/96 Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer, beat butter, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until the mixture is light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking soda and nutmeg into the peanut butter mixture. Add the sesame seeds; stir until the ingredients are just combined. With your hands, form 1-inch balls of dough. Dip each ball into beaten egg white, then roll it in wheat germ. This type of chinese dessert is also known as Tang Yuan (汤圆). Basically this round tang yuan, whether plain or stuffed with filling, is a traditional dessert which is essential to many Chinese festivals for its cultural significance. Eating these glutinous rice balls on festive seasons, especially during winter solstice gives an auspicious meaning of reunion, happiness and togetherness.
Making colourful glutinous rice balls is also a popular tradition for many Chinese families. This is because each colour has its own auspicious meaning in the Chinese culture too. I have chosen to made these glutinous rice balls in 3 colours, namely white, red and green. WHITE signifies kingship (good interpersonal relationships), RED signifies joy and GREEN signifies good health. The best part is this recipe uses natural colouring to make these colourful glutinous rice balls too.

This no churn ice cream is just 4 ingredients: peanut butter, protein, coconut cream, and peanut butter cups!
The BEST and creamiest, indulgent ice cream.
Here’s how:
Yield :2-3 servings
Ingredients
1 can coconut cream or full fat coconut milk
4 tbsp vanilla protein powder
Optional: add 2-4 tbsp maple syrup for additional sweetness
1/2C peanut butter
4-6 peanut butter cups, chopped up
Directions
1. Blend all ingredients except pB cups. Pour into an ice cube tray for 4-6 hours until firm.
2. Blend the cubes in high speed blender until smooth. (Start low and slow so you don’t work it too hard). Add half the PB cups and pulse for 2-3 seconds
3. To serve firm, pour into a loaf pan and freeze for an hour.
4. Scoop into cups and top with the remaining PB cups. Enjoy.
