009 - How to Make Beltane Oatcakes My Way!
Little bit late for Beltane but whatever you can use this recipe next year! Sorry for being so energetic, I was pumped on sugar, haha. Anyway, this recipe is Scottish and on the morning of Beltane Scotts would eat the oatcakes because it was said to help your crops grow.
Recipe:
1 and 1/2 cups of oats 1/8 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of melted butter 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda half a cup of water some strawberries and sugar are optional and to taste!
Mix together all the ingredients, heat up a pan on medium heat, put mixture into pan and cook until golden. Happy late Beltane.
