How To make Potatoes and Hot Dogs Au Gratin
2 T Butter or margarine
1/4 c Flour
1 c Milk
1/4 T Salt
Dash pepper 1/2 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 ea Onion, chopped
2 c Potatoes, peeled, cubed
1 lb Hot dogs, cut in 1" pieces
10 oz Pkg frozen peas and carrots
- thawed
Cook potatoes in boiling water, until just tender. Drain and set aside to cool a little. Make a white sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and mixing in the flour. Mix in well the milk, and stir until it thickens. Add seasonings and cheese, stir until cheese melts. Add hot dogs and peas and carrots, mix well. Add cooled potatoes and mix gently. Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and bake uncovered at 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until heated through. serves 6 to 8

Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 350g cream
- 80ml milk
- 250g truffle brie (any soft cheese will work)
- 2kg potato
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. In a bowl add the cream, minced garlic, and milk and mix.
2. Add torn brie, salt and pepper and mix.
3. Slice in the potatoes and stir well.
4. Layer the potatoes in an oven-safe dish or skillet.
5. Cook at 180c for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until you have a golden top and the potatoes are cooked through.
6. Enjoy!

You'll Need:
- 5 large potatoes
- salt and pepper
- 7 oz sliced ham
- 5 oz sliced cheese
- 8 oz bacon, cooked and diced
- parsley
- 2 and 1/4 cups mozzarella
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/3 cups cream
Here's How:
1. Wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Add salt and pepper to taste.
2. Place a layer of potato slices into a square casserole dish, followed by a layer of ham and a layer of cheese slices. Repeat the whole process once more.
3. Sprinkle the bacon on top of the second layer of cheese. Add some parsley and cover with yet another layer of potato slices. Now add the mozzarella.
4. Mix the eggs and cream well, and pour it over the mozzarella. Now bake for 60 minutes at 320° F.

1 pint of heavy cream 3 med to large potatoes
2 tbsp butter 4 cloves of minced garlic in olive oil
1 bundle of green onions or to taste
1 large can diced green chillis
1 1/2 tsp. of smoked paprika

Cheesy Smoked Sausage and Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
3 Cups of diced potatoes (about 5 medium potatoes)
1 lb. smoked sausage
3 Tbs. butter
3 Tbs. flour
1 cup milk
2” block of Velveeta-cubed
1/4-1/2 cup shredded cheddar
Pepper
Peel, dice, rinse, and boil potatoes. Drain off water.
Cut sausage into smoked sausage. Brown in skillet. Drain onto paper towels lined plates.
In saucepan, add flour, butter, milk, and Velveeta. Whisk until mixture is thoroughly combined and bring to a boil.
Combine potatoes and sausage. Gently stir in cheese sauce. Add to greased 8x11 baking pan. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and sprinkle with pepper. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly. About 35-45 minute.
For freezer meal:
Prep according to directions. But don’t bake. Thaw and bake when ready to heat.

Cheesy Scalloped Potato Gratin Recipe
Cheesy Scalloped Potato Gratin Recipe - This potato recipe combines a couple of my favourite things; potatoes and cheese.
Ingredients:
500 mL (2 cups) 35% cream
500 mL (2 cups) milk
2 medium shallots
2 garlic cloves
15 mL (1 Tbsp) coarse salt
5 mL (1 tsp) fresh ground black pepper
3-4 sprigs of thyme leaves
Grated nutmeg to taste
2Kg (4 pounds) russet potatoes, very thinly sliced
Cheese(s) of you choice... as much as you want
Method:
Preheat oven to 180ºC (350°F).
In a pot over low heat, gently simmer cream, milk, shallots, garlic, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and thyme.
Cook and steep until shallots are soft, and the milk is infused with flavour; about 20 minutes.
Use a stick blender or blender to make a smooth liquid.Grate the cheese(s) of your choice.
Pour a little bit of milk mixture into the bottom of an 11x9 baking dish.
Arrange potato slices in layers, alternating with cheese.
Pour milk mixture over potatoes as you go.
Last layer should be cheese.
Cover and bake until tender and creamy, 60–75 minutes.
Take cover off for the last 15 minutes.
