Homemade Sesame Tahini Cookies (Vegan, Minimal Ingredients) | Bakelore
Hello friends! This recipe is for my fellow Tahini lovers. Simple, healthy and amazing, these cookies truly have it all. All you need are few ingredients and a mixing bowl to achieve these soft, flavorful bites of heaven! As always don't forget to have fun while baking and make every recipe your own! RECIPE
½ cup Tahini
⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup almond flour
1 cup coconut flour
⅓ cup sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven at 180C/350F. In a mixing bowl add the honey or maple syrup, tahini and combine well. Add all of the dry ingredients and mix everything together starting with a spoon and then with your hands until you have a smooth texture. In a baking tray form the cookies (about 1 tbsp of dough) and and bake for 10'-12'. Let cool for 2' and serve!
NOTES
*You can sub the almond and coconut flour with oat flour.
*Maple, agave and honey work just as good.
*Don't bake for longer than 12'.

Tahini is a paste made from sesame seeds and is a staple in many cuisines, especially in the Mediterranean / Middle East. The most well known way to use tahini is when making hummus. It’s vegan, gluten-free, tastes nutty, and is simple to make. Tahini is rich in many nutrients, including protein, fiber, copper, selenium, and phosphorus. Sesame seeds, which are the main ingredient in tahini, have a powerful effect on heart health by decreasing risk factors, such as high blood pressure, triglycerides, and LDL (bad) cholesterol.
Rolled oat in other hands, is well-known for its many health benefits, including weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and a reduced risk of heart disease.
Ingredients:
160g Tahini paste
90g Rolled oat
90g Brown sugar
Any nuts for toppings

Tahini Cookies Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup raw tahini
⅔ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
½ cup flour
Pinch salt
PREPARATION
-Preheat the oven to 350F / 175C.
-Add all ingredients in a bowl except the flour and mix.
-Add the flour and mix until the dough looks crumbly.
-Using your hands, take a small piece of dough and squeeze it into a small ball. Then flatten it.
-Place each ball on a baking paper-lined tray. Press each ball in the middle with your thumb and place an almond in the space. You can also use a fork to flatten each ball and make pretty lines.
-Bake for 10 minutes. Delicious with coffee and tea!

-1 cup sesame seeds, roasted for about 5 minutes
- 3 tbsp of coconut oil or butter
- 4 tbsp unrefined cane sugar or coconut sugar or replace with honey
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of gluten-free oats or oat flour (70 gr)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
