How To make Spiced Almond Meringues
1 tb Butter
1 Egg white
1 pn Cream of tartar
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 c Sugar
3/4 c Almonds; ground

1. Grind almonds or buy already ground.
2. Grease a cookie sheet generously with 1 tablespoon butter or solid
margarine. 3. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
4. Combine in a mixing bowl the egg white and a pinch of cream of
tartar; beat until foamy. 5. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Gradually add to egg white, beating
until stiff peaks form. Fold in the ground almonds. 6. Drop by LEVEL tablespoons 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Cookies
spread during baking so don't place too close together. 7. Bake 10 minutes or until cookies are a pale beige color.

Heavenly Chocolate Almond Meringue Roulade with Mascarpone Cream and Cherries
Never guess how easy is to put it together ! The nutty chocolate meringue, lashings of cream, gorgeous cherries - super summer dessert.
Serve it very cold - the delicious end to that special summer lunch.
For the meringue:
4 egg whites ( about 150 g) room temperature, 1 tea spoon lemon juice,
180 g sugar, 80 g almonds, 35 g cocoa, vanilla.
For the cream: 300 g mascarpone, 200 ml milk, 1 tb spoon flour, ( or corn starch), 3 tb spoon sugar, vanilla.
Chock Drizzle: 1-2 tb spoons of milk, 1 tb spoon cocoa, 1 tb sp sugar, butter - tip of the knife.
350 g fresh cherries

Episode 49: In this episode you will meet my Grandmother, Rozalija Pušič. In this video ‘Staramama’ (grandmother) shares her delicious recipe for these ‘Walnut Meringue Cookies’. Staramama doesn’t need to refer back to her recipe book, at the age of 92, she is still able to share it with us by memory — She is truly amazing!! In slovenian we call these cookies, ‘Puserli or Orehovi Poljubčki’. These melt in your mouth cookies are more like a candy. They have a crispy exterior and a chewy interior. They are always a hit! We can’t wait for you to give them a try.
Print recipe:

250g ground walnuts
250g sugar
1 x egg yolk
1 teaspoon of lemon zest
???????? Combine the above ingredients into a bowl and set aside
3 x egg whites
???????? Beat egg whites until stiff. Gently add and fold In the walnut mixture above to the egg whites. Do not over mix.
???????? Preheat oven to 350 degrees
???????? Using a teaspoon - Drop a spoon of dough onto a cookie sheet that Is lined with parchment paper.
???????? Keep enough room between each cookie as the dough will spread during the baking process.
???????? Bake for about 20 minutes. Check on the cookies after 15 minutes. The cookies are done when the edges are slightly browned.
???????? Let the cookies cool down for about 3 minutes before placing onto a plate.

Nut Meringue Cookies (ONLY 4 INGREDIENTS!!!!)
Hi everyone, today we will be making Nut Meringue Cookies using only 4 ingredients.
Recipe for 20 Cookies:
1 1/3 cup nuts, raw
2 egg whites
2 pinches of salt
2/3 cup sugar
1)Preheat oven to 180C. Line baking sheet with baking paper. Toast nuts for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely before grinding. Pulse in food processor until coarsely chopped.
2)Reduce oven temp to 150C. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in sugar and chopped nuts until well combined.
3)Using a tablespoon, spoon the batter onto a parchment lined baking sheet (spacing them 2 inches apart). Bake cookies until golden brown 16-18 minutes.
4)Let cool on baking sheet for about 10 minutes for easier removal. Transfer cookies to wire rack to cool.
