How To make Banana Pudding Cake
3/4 c Whole wheat pastry flour
3/4 c Unbleached flour, white
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 c Raisins
2 ea Large ripe bananas, cut into
1/2 Inch slices
1/2 c Apple juice
1/2 c Maple syrup
2 ts Vanilla extract
With Pam, spritz and flour a 1 qt (6 cup) bundt pan. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, and slowly add bananas, ensuring that they are coated with flour on both sides. Combine liquids, and add to flour, mixing evenly. Pour into bundt pan, and cover tightly with foil. Using trivit in pressure cooker, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Lower bundt pan into cooker, cover, lock, and immediately bring to high pressure. Cook for 35 minutes. At end, quick release pressure, remove bundt pan, and place on wire rack to cool. Unmold and serve. Banana Pudding, a southern delight that everyone loves but, what happens when you take an already excellent dish and combine it with cheesecake and cake? The answer to that is something that is absolute delicious! In today's video we go over how to put together this awesome cake by combining 3 great desserts into one.

How To Make The Cheesecake:
For the banana flavored cake layers follow my How To Make Box Cake Mix Good video and use butter golden cake mix with banana cream pudding mix and banana flavoring.
Banana Pudding Custard:
2 Cups Whole Milk
1 Cup Sugar
4 Tblsp Butter(half stick)
3 Egg Yolks(separate yolks from whites)
2 Tblsp All Purpose Flour
1 Tblsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tblsp Banana Flavoring
In a medium pot over medium heat combine the milk, sugar, and egg yolks and whisk until combined. Then add in the flour and whisk until combined and then add in the butter.
Continue to constantly whisk and stir allowing the butter to gradually melt and combine with the liquid mixture. Then for the next 15-20 mins continuously whisk everything non-stop while mixture starts to cook.
Towards the end of the timer the mixture will begin to become thick. Once desired consistency is reached remove from heat. Do not allow it to overboil as this will scorch the custard.
Add flavorings after the custard has been removed from the heat. It is best to add flavorings after the cooking process so not to scorch the flavorings and create a bitter taste in the custard.
Pour custard through a mesh strainer to remove any overcooked bits and allow to cool and you have a perfect banana pudding custard!

INGREDIENTS & PROCESS:
¼ CUP SUGAR
2 TBSP WATER
COOK UNTIL CARAMELISED
POUR IN A OVEN PROOF BOWL
2 BANANA
2 EGGS
MIX
POUR IN A BLENDER
2 TBSP SUGAR
1 CUP MILK
1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
BLEND SMOOTH
STRAIN THE MIXTURE
COVER WITH FOIL PAPER
BOLI SOME WATER IN CURRY PAN
PLACE THE MOULD INSIDE & COVER
STEAM FOR 35-40 MIN.
COOL DOWN COMPLETELY
KEEP IN FRIDGE FOR 2 HOURS

* Betty Crocker vanilla cake mix
* Jello Banana Cream pudding mix 5.1 oz
* 1/4 Cup All purpose Flour
* 3 Eggs
* 1 Cup vegetable oil
* 1 Cup Water
Banana Cream Filling:
* (1) 3.4 oz box Jello banana cream pudding mix
* 2 Cups COLD milk
* 1 package Extra creamy cool whip
Whipped Cream:
* 1 quart heavy whipping cream
* (1) 3.4 oz box jello banana cream pudding mix
American buttercream
* 4 sticks unsalted butter room temp
* 6 cups Sugar
* 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk (May not need all)
Garnish : Nabisco Vanilla wafers
