How To make Chicken Breasts with Lemon
1/2 cup flour
(for dredging)
salt and pepper :
to taste 4 chicken breasts skinless, boneless
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 sprigs thyme :
(1 tsp dried)
2 tablespoons shallots finely chopped
2 teaspoons garlic :
finely chopped
2 teaspoons lemon rind grated
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup chicken broth :
fresh or canned
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Season flour with salt and pepper, and dredge the chichen all over. Shake off excess flour.
Heat the oil in a heavy skillet large enough to hold the chicken pieces in one layer. Add chicken and cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
Turn the chicken and cook for 5 more minutes, or until cooked through. Carefully remove the oil from the skillet, leaving the chicken. Discard the oil.
Add the thyme, shallots and garlic, and cook for about a minute. Do not burn the garlic. Add the lemon rind, the lemon juice and the broth.
Scrape the skillet to dissolve the brown particles that cling to the bottom. Add the butter, and cook for 3 minutes longer.

For the Chicken
- 700g Cubed Raw Chicken Breast
- 20ml Light & Dark Soy Sauce (Low Sodium)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Lemon Juiced
- 2 tsp Olive Oil for cooking
- 10-15g Honey
For the Rice
- 480g Cooked Basmati Rice (120g per serve)
- 1 Red Onion finely sliced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 15ml Dark Soy Sauce
- 10g Honey
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- Garnish Green Onion

Important Notes
- When adding the honey to the chicken make sure the heat is turned off
- You can store the meal preps for up to 5 days and freeze for months. Reheat in a microwave or on a pan
- You can marinate the chicken for 30 mins or overnight for best flavour

1️⃣ 00:00:44 - Place chicken breasts in a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Pour in lemon juice, olive oil, lemon pepper, basil, oregano, and salt. Shake it a bit so that all the chicken gets covered.
2️⃣ 00:01:24 - Let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
3️⃣ 00:01:30 - Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
4️⃣ 00:01:35 - Remove the chicken from the marinade and place in a 9×13 pan. Discard any remaining marinade. Place lemon slices on top.
5️⃣ 00:01:57 - Cook chicken for 18-20 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. If you want to add a little color to your chicken breast, one they are done baking, switch the setting on your oven to broil. Allow the chicken to broil for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly browned.

Creamy Lemon Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 c low sodium chicken broth
2 lemons
1/4 c heavy cream
sea salt
pepper
smoked paprika
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1/3 c chopped shallots
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
olive oil
fresh parsley
How-To:
Preheat oven at 375 degrees. Place chicken in zip lock bag and use rolling pin to pound until 2 inches thick. Season with sea salt, pepper, smoked paprika on both sides. In a separate bowl add chicken broth, garlic, red pepper flakes and fresh lemon juice (1 whole lemon). Whisk together. Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium/high heat. Brown chicken breast 2-3 minutes on both sides. (Don't worry if it's not cooked all the way, it will finish cooking in the oven). Put chicken on a separate plate. In the same skillet add shallots and the chicken broth mixture. Whisk together scraping all the bits on the bottom of the pan. Allow to simmer for 10-15 mins while sauce reduces and thickens up. Add and melt unsalted butter. Add heavy cream and stir together. Add chicken back to the pan. Make sure all the chicken is coated with the creamy lemon sauce. Bake in the oven for 8-10 mins or until chicken is fully cooked. Top with fresh chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve warm! EAT AND ENJOY!

INGREDIENTS:
1 chicken breast (200gm)
Garlic 1/2 tsp
Ginger 1/2 tsp
Cumin 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Mix well
Marinate for 10-20 mins
Oil 1 tbsp
Onion 1 tbsp
Cook until translucent

Cook until golden brown
Keep aside
Beaten yogurt 1/4 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Cook for 5 mins
Cooked chicken
Mix well
Corn flour 1 tsp + water 1 tbsp
Keep stirring
Pepper powder to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Thick consistency
