How To make Chicken Stuff A Roni with Cheese Sauce
FILLING:
1 1/2 c Finely chopped cooked
- chicken or turkey 1/2 c Finely chopped onion
1/4 c Minced parsley (optional)
1/4 ts Ground thyme
1/4 ts Garlic salt
1/2 c Finely chopped celery
1 c Grated cheddar cheese, med.
1/4 c Dry white wine - or gravy
Salt and pepper to taste SAUCE:
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Flour
3 c Chicken broth - I use
- homemade gravy instead 1 c Milk
2 c Grated Cheddar Cheese
1/4 ts Tobasco
Salt and pepper to taste In bowl, combine filling ingredients; salt and pepper to taste In Saucepan, melt butter, add flour. Stir in broth and milk; cook until thickened, stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients. Fill Stuff-a-roni. Cover bottom of 2 quart baking dish with 1 cup cheese sauce. Arrange filled stuff-a-roni in single layer in baking dish. Cover with remaining sauce. Cover dish with foil and bake at 375-degrees F., for one hour; or cover dish with waxed paper and microwave 30 minutes turning once. Note: I usually make this dish after Thanksgiving. I freeze left over turkey and gravy, and then later, when turkey seems like a treat again, I make the Stuff-a-roni. I do not use the wine; in it's place I use turkey gravy, and when it calls for broth, I also use a fair portion of turkey gravy. SHARED by Cate Vanicek

Chicken Rice-a-Roni® - Inspired by Lebanese Riz Bi Sha'rieh - Food Wishes
Rice-a-Roni® is commonly referred to as the “San Francisco Treat,” but it should really be called, the “Lebanese Treat,” since it was actually inspired by a rice pilaf recipe called “Riz Bi Sha'rieh.” This is my chicken-infused version, and it’s one of my favorite comfort foods of all time. Enjoy!

Whisk
——Ingredients——
3 chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
:
——bang bang sauce——
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoon chili garlic sauce or Sriracha
:
1. Score the chicken breasts about 1/8-inch deep and 1/2-inch apart. Make cross-hatch cuts. Mix all the spices together (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, seasoned salt) and season the chicken breasts on both sides.
2. Make the bang bang sauce - mix together the Mayo, sweet chili sauce and chili garlic sauce or sriracha. Make sure you reserve about a couple tablespoons of the sauce for drizzling on top when serving the dish.
3. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and spread about 2 tablespoons of the bang bang sauce on top, then air fry at 390° for about 20 minutes depending on the size of the chicken breasts or until the internal temperature hits 165 degrees.
4. Once done let the chicken rest for about 10 minutes , then serve over white rice drizzle with the reserved bang bang sauce, garnish with some cilantro or green onions and enjoy.
