How To make Chocolate Cake Lowfat
Ingredients

butter, or margarine

cup
sugar

egg
1 1/4
cup
buttermilk, non-fat
1/4
cup
cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
baking soda
1
teaspoon
baking powder
1 1/2
cup
flour, unbleached, sifted
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat an 8-inch round cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. With an electric mixer cream the margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat in the egg. Stir in the buttermilk. Set the bowl aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cocoa, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour, and mix together well. Add the creamed margarine-buttermilk mixture to the dry ingredients in one batch. Stir until the dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 35 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out dry. Remove from the pan and let cool on a rack.

- 2 room temperature Eggs ( Please note that eggs must be room temp!)
- 30g (2 1/2 tbsp) Sugar
- 30g (2 1/2 tbsp) Truvia
- 66g (1/3 cup + 2 tbsp) Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Almond Extract
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp fresh Lemon Zest ( grate it directly over the bowl)
- 135g (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp) Skimmed Milk (add it as soon as the cake comes out of the oven)
- 150g (5.5 ounces) Low Calorie Vanilla Yogurt

Day 6 of Making Healthy Desserts: 1-minute Chocolate Mug Cake???? It’s gluten-free & vegan! If you aren’t coeliac/intolerant to gluten/IBS sufferer, you can of course use wheat flour in this☺️

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons all purpose gluten-free flour mix
1 tablespoon unsweetened cacao powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
3 tablespoons almond milk
1 piece of dark chocolate (I used 80% dark chocolate)

1. In a mug mix the dry ingredients together
2. Add the wet ingredients and stir until combined
3. Add the piece of dark chocolate to the center
4. Cook in the microwave for 40 - 60 seconds (800W). All microwaves are different, so the cooking time might differ. I recommend checking the cake after 40 seconds and then cooking longer if needed
5. Serve with some berries, for example! Enjoy!

4-ingredient Healthy Chocolate Microwave Cake (vegan, flourless & refined sugar-free)???? This cake is a super quick & easy dessert idea! If you want to add some extra sweetness to it, you can of course add some maple syrup to the batter, for example!☺️

This recipe makes 2 servings:
1 mashed banana
1/4 cup peanut butter (60 ml) (I use a pb that is 100% made of peanuts)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1. Mix the wet ingredients together
2. Add the dry ingredients and stir until combined
3. Pour into a greased bowl or mug. Microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes (800W). Or if you don’t have a microwave, you can bake it at 180 Celsius degrees (350 in Fahrenheit) for about 10-15 minutes
4. Enjoy straight from the bowl/mug or wait for the cake to cool down for a few minutes then cover the bowl with a plate and flip upside down, so that the cake falls onto the plate. Serve with some berries, for example!
