For the tails, immediately place a piece of licorice into the rounded end of each cookie. Remove from the cookie sheets.

Welcome to Bonita's Kitchen! Today we will be making Chocolate Mice Cookies, also called Peanut Butter Balls, this are my childhood favourite at Christmas time and the are so delicious.

Our cookbooks link:
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup confectionary sugar
2 cups rice krispie
1 cup coconut
½ cup chopped walnuts
1 cup butter or margarine
1 pack chocolate chips or block chocolate
2 cup water
Method:
In a medium bowl add peanut butter, butter, confectionary sugar, coconut, chopped walnuts mix together well then fold in rice krispie.
Then scoop about 2 tbsp of mixture or more into your hand and form a egg shape mice cookie, then place on a plate until all of your mixture is gone.
Put plate in fridge to cool down the peanut butter for 5 to 10 minutes.
In a saucepan with 2 cups water, start to boil, you will need a heat proof glass bowl to place on the saucepan to make a double boiler, add chocolate and let melt stirring occasionally.
Remove mice cookies or peanut butter balls from the fridge and dip each one in chocolate to coat and place back into the plate to set. Keep doing this until all complete.
Store when sat in a plastic container refrigerate or freeze until ready to serve them.
I apologize in advance if anything in this video is not clear or miss read, please follow my recipe when making this dish.
