How To make Chocolate Meringue Cookies
2 lg Egg whites
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 ds Salt
1/2 c Sugar
1 c Chocolate chips
1 c Walnuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together the egg whites, vanilla, and salt until frothy with an electric mixer. Slowly beat in the sugar, 1 tabls. at a time, on medium. Continue beating meringue until sugar dissolves and whites get glossy and form soft peaks. Gently fold in the choc chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on well-greased cookie sheet. Place in the preheated oven. Close the door and turn the oven off. Do not open the oven door for 4-5 hours (best to leave overnight).
Serving Ideas : Makes 12-18-20, depending on the size!

I didn't want to go to bed late at night, so I made chocolate meringue cookies. Chocolate meringue cookies with sweet chocolate chips were so healing that they would melt away the fatigue of the day. Have a nice night~ :)
* Ingredients :
- 70g egg white
- 80g sugar
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- a handful of chocolate chips
* How to make :
- whip 70g of egg white for 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Add 1 tablespoon sugar every 30 seconds while keep whipping at high speed.
- Whip the meringue until stiff peaks form and whip at low speead for 30 seconds to clear the bubbles.
- Add 1tbsp cacao powder and mix gently to prevent the meringue from bursting.
- Put 195K tip in a piping bag and put the finished meringue.
- Place chocholate chips on paper foil or Teflon sheet at regular intervals and squeeze meringue on it.
- Bake in a 90 degree preheated oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Cool the finished meringue for 5 minutes and remove it from the Teflon sheet.

늦은 밤 그대로 잠들기 아쉬운 마음에 초코 머랭쿠키를 만들어 보았어요. 달콤한 초콜렛 칩이 들어간 초코 머랭쿠키는 정말 하루의 피로를 사르르 녹여줄만큼 그야말로 힐링이었답니다. 그럼 편안한 밤 되세요~ :)
* 재료 :
- 계란흰자 70g
- 설탕 80g
- 카카오파우더 1큰술
- 초콜렛 칩 1줌
* 만드는 방법 :
- 계란흰자 70g을 중속으로 2분간 휘핑해줍니다
- 거품이 풍부하게 올라오면 30초 간격으로 설탕을 4번에 나누어 넣어가며 고속으로 휘핑해줍니다
- 머랭 뿔이 단단하게 올라올때까지 휘핑한 뒤, 저속으로 30초간 기포를 정리해줍니다
- 카카오파우더 1큰술을 넣고 머랭이 꺼지지 않도록 조심스럽게 섞어줍니다
- 짤주머니에 195K 상투모양 깍지를 끼워 완성된 머랭을 담아줍니다
- 종이호일이나 테프론시트에 초콜렛 칩을 일정한 간격으로 올린 후, 그 위로 머랭을 짭니다
- 90도로 예열한 오븐에서 1시간 20분동안 머랭을 구워줍니다
- 완성된 머랭은 5분간 식힌 후 떼어냅니다

Makes 16
INGREDIENTS
170g NESTLÉ Aero for Baking, broken into pieces
2 large egg whites
1 ml cream of tartar
½ tsp vanilla essence
½ tsp salt
¼ cup brown sugar
Serving suggestion:
NESTLÉ Hot Chocolate
METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 180° and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Place the NESTLÉ Aero for Baking chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is melted.
3. In a large bowl, add the egg whites, cream of tartar, vanilla essence and salt. Using a hand mixer, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Add in the sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the eggs until combined. *Chef’s Tip: Avoid overmixing to prevent the egg whites from losing air.
5. Use a tablespoon to spoon the batter onto a baking sheet, allowing space between each for the cookies to spread during baking. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until crackly on the top but chewy on the inside. Allow to cool before serving alongside a mug of NESTLÉ Hot Chocolate and ENJOY!
